Mikedin’s garden center, Let’s grow!

Hello all, with the finish of my last run I disassembled everything and did a big clean up. All in all this thread will be my continuous grow thread, and will consist of 3 tents, one dedicated strictly to vegetables, wife is getting ideas of flowers too so we’ll see but why not log that along with it, first time doing vegetables inside! At the moment I have one tent set up, I’ll list equipment on tents as they set up.

For now we have
Tent: AC Infinity 4x8 tent
Light Mars Hydro FC-E8000 (altered to 8’x2’)
Exhaust: spider farmer 6” exhaust with carbon filter
For air inlet small 4” inline fan
2x 16” oscillating fans
Medium is 50/50 FF strawberry fields and light warrior seed starter with an extra bit of perlite

1x Frostette by @Trustfall Genetics!

She will be accompanied by,


1x Homegrown cannabis Co - KK Strawberry Cough
1x Green house seed co. - Chemdog

All direct sow on Saturday, by Monday night Frostette was breaking soil followed by the other 2 the following day, quick little shot, all on the table for now with some tomato and pepper plants light about 36” at about 50%

I will also be posting useful charts on this first post if they are needed by anyone!

First in~!

Should be fun, gunna be a whatever I feel like planting whenever kinda journal, easier than keeping track of multiple journals for multiple tents

Everyone is free to drop pics of their own grows as well!

Seedlings are goin! Bumped up the light a bit before they stretched too much. Just got a new ultrasonic cool/warm hybrid humidifier, got the RH bumped up to 50-55 temps holding around 79-80 lights on and 75 ish lights out

So here we are at 8 days

Guess it’s update day, got a new ultrasonic humidifier, Frostette is in the lead still

Chemdog looking a little funky but we’ll see how it plays out, strawberry cough is looking damn happy as well

Frostette continuing strong in the lead, Chemdog is looking sickly, wondering if it’s it’s because I’ve kept them on the heating pad still, The Strawberry cough and frostette seem to be loving it, I moved the Chemdog off to the side and off the heat for now to see if she recoups, if not I’ll start another seed

No biggie, plants can go in and out of flower tent as needed I plan to be randomly starting stuff so we’ll see how it goes

Considering starting an auto just to leave in the tent while the other veg out I think I have some homegrown cannibis co runtz autos I could pop for fun

Should be a fun topic I plan to just keep it going, it’ll include my outdoor veggie garden too in the summer, produced great last year fingers crossed for this year

Start keeping a list of what works and what doesn’t. I do a few veggies and move them out in spring, except for one lettuce.

Who knows, we might start a companion grow list. Helps my single plant grows when humidity is needed. (Only tried lettuce.) I’m up to two 3 in 1 tents so I should be able to manage a few larger ones this year. Had to delete a lot...to much off topic. Sorry.

I also have some small micro green trays we got a while back. 50/50 out of two. Might do better on a windowsill. That or 18/6 was okay but not 6/2? Future worry.

Cool. Only just setup the second tent. Should only need fans for the 3x1x3 zones. Trouble is finding low growers.

Red/green bell did good as did jalapeño. Forgot basil. The rest only stayed until about 12” then out they went.

Going to be busy soon.

… still eating off last summer haha starting to get low now

90% crushed tomatoes and sauce, a bunch of hot pepper mixes (Hungarian hot wax and jalapeño) then 12 quarts of homemade applesauce (we picked the apples at a local farm ourselves, our Trees won’t be ready for another 3-4 years) then 12 quarts of canned peaches (also picked by us at a local farm) can’t wait for all our fruit trees to mature lo
