yeah i’m super excited and glad i have all this advice to look back on!

yeah they definitely helped out a lot! i agree it was nice to see it come back from what it looked like!
I just wish it didnt eat so much nitrogen at the end so you had a pretty looking plant full of leaves lol. But at the end of the day, who wants to smoke leaves? 🤣

yeah same! but at least it’s the leaves and nothing else! but yeha i didn’t know that you should get rid of all the leaves.

yeah my next grow is going to be a photoperiod purple punch and i want to make that a journal too
Photos are so much more fun to grow, and you have so much more time to correct issues than you do with autos. I was up to my 4th journal so decided to make a continuous journal instead to show everything lol

yeah i’ll probably only have a few journals be hard to keep track of all of them lol

I wish i could combine all my threads into 1 but the sponsor wants it all seperate 😠🤬

Forgot to shout out Mikedin and a few others that also put in some really good info.

@ayeob - I read your questions about air circulation and fan placement. The overall idea that you are trying to accomplish is to have some plant movement along with air movement inside the tent. I like to place my fans in a way that starts a sort of circle that moves around the tent. I'll place the fan in the corner and point it at the other corner but a little off axis so that the air hits the other wall and bounces off it at an angle where the deflected air will move towards the wall next to it, etc. Essentially what you would be creating is a sort of tornado of sorts where air is moving around the tent in a circular motion.

I find this helps in oxygenating the roots through the cloth pots as I place the fan low, like maybe, 6 - 12 inches off the floor.

One thing I do that is a no no is lifting the cloth pot off the floor. I've run tons of cloth pots sitting in flood tables without any under pot circulation and have no zero ill effects.....that I know of. I'm going to lift the pot off the floor on my next run and see if there is a difference. I always check roots after harvest to see if there was anything harmful happening in the "rootsosphere" where I need to change this or that process and, to date, I've been fortunate to not have any root rot or any other issues.

@GNick55 @Goodshit97 do i have to cut the leaves before i chop it down? seems a little harder to get the smaller leaves

No. I only take big leaves off and then trim the rest once dry
oh okay so don’t cut off all the leaves?

here’s the first one i did still need to get some yellow leaves off

Heres what my buds look like hanging up. I dont like wet trimming so i only take fan leaves off and then when its dry ill trim all the leaves off. Its easier imo

okay might do that then. is there a difference between doing it now or after it’s dry?
