For those that have shared an interest for the recipe
@TSD @Harpua88 @PerfecTrader @CannaGranny

Just made these tonight to outline the process. We have peach flavored pops and some funny smiley face candies here. The color was made using one drop yellow, two drops red, 420 drops cannabis?

Thanks for being considerate. Yeah Crohn's plus ulcerative colitis is a bitch. I've been completely off all medication for almost a year I think now. I almost had to get the colonoscopy bag once, but thankfully i recovered in the nick of time during one hospital visit.

Instead of OTC stuff I watch my diet and self medicate. I made my first edible two months ago and I found that it made me feel like I never even had Crohn's. Not only did it not cause pain, which can happen from eating almost anything, it gave my intestines this intense warming feeling that was bliss.

I think I'll make a thread detailing the recipe and link it here. I'm making a batch tonight actually.

Peanut butter balls sound awesome!!!

One thing you need to make hard candy that most people don't have in their kitchen is a candy thermometer. But I think you probably have one.

I'll put something together here soon for recipe details. I'm taking pictures of my process in tonight's batch.

I'm excited, going to make them 🍑 flavored.

I went a little overboard when I ordered flavors and got near all of them lol

Sea turtles kind of look like dinosaurs when they break the water. The first time I saw one was a WHAT-THE-FUCK?? oh, it's a turtle moment.
I had the same thing happen to me in the water when I was surfing in Costa Rica. The beach we were at was also a certified turtle sanctuary so at dusk you got to watch all the mama turtles come up on shore and lay their eggs in the sand. So Cool........

In May off of Navarre Island on the west coast of Florida, the entire island turns off all outside lights at night for the turtle hatch. One of the coolest things I have ever seen. Not to mention the unsullied view of the sky sans the lights.

That has to be such an epic sight!!! It was kind of sad in a way because even though Costa Rica is very environmentally friendly the local government had allowed cabinas and little hotels to be built right along the shore so as cool as it was it was kind of bittersweet watching a bunch of tourists gawking at the turtles from the comfort of the beach bar sipping their Imperials. You know what happens next........😞

I haven't been back to that part of Costa Rica in 20 years but a friend of mine was there a year ago and told me it's all multi story hotels with paved streets and everything. Sad to think about how beautiful that whole area was......

Don't worry, it will all be under water, soon enough.

I took my wife and 12 year old on a 4x4 adventure in Costa Rica about 30 years ago. I rented a 4x4 and after studying maps and guide books We landed in San Jose got our Izuzu pickup and headed out....Stopped on the East Coast for a 4 day trip up a long 100 mile canal to Tortuguero national park. We stayed in a small jungle lodge there 3 nights. No hotels there then 5 cabins & a lodge for meals and bar., no air conditioning 95f 100% humidity.

From there back to San Jose then up to Arenal Volcano and over to Monteverte rain forest then down the coast to Quepos staying in Manuel Antonio National park....with a day trip down to Dominical ( a surfers paradise ) then back to San Jose to fly out.....3 week of adventure back when I was young and able.....

If you were local I'd give you some. I've been toying with the idea of a give away of edibles and clones for 4/20, but that would be local. And the laws here are that we can gift, but absolutely no exchange for the gifts. They covered that loophole that is exploited in other states. But I don't mind, I just want to be able to share without getting arrested. Just don't know the logistics of how and where I could setup a give away booth without being hassled

Just want to give something back to the community for 4/20 you know? For those that might be curious about growing I would give them a clone and or edibles to those that are curious but intimidated for whatever reason to try cannabis.

Is anyone else doing anything generous for the occasion?

I do that year round! I’m really thankful for the gifting laws written into Mo law. I’m no longer a criminal! Lol

Amazing! My husband went to Costa Rica with our high school, senior trip I think, maybe Spanish club... either way he had an epic time climbed a volcano, swam in a jungle oasis... until they all got wasted and sent home early and he spent a month being grounded. 🤣 I didn't really know him then, he was a cool kid a year ahead and I was a dorky loner... my how the times have changed us. 🤣 I mean, I'm still a huge dork, but also way cooler than I was then. 🤣
