Everything is looking great. Besides my newbie mistake of overwatering my Whiskey Zulu. (I usually get quick dry back) I’m usually battling high temperatures, even in the winter, and expected to really have to worry about it with the two new #ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro lights. Not the case. They didn’t get nearly as warm as I thought they would. (Which is a good thing, just was anticipating more heat being generated).

Have you played with the "voltage screw" on the driver yet?

Mine was about half turn, I turned it all the way down.

Yep, it's pretty cool

Figure, the dimmer in it is enough, and those diodes run good with lower voltages, and if needed/big enough plants then can volt it back up for little more "oomph".

I have always used “full blast”. I’ve just adjusted light height. After watching this it sealed the deal for me on using the dimmer. I do quite a few things that other growers would say that you should never do! I just keep it to myself as I’m not trying to go back and forth arguing over it. I get great results, so it works for me! What works best for me not work out best for you. Doesn’t make it invalid.

Day 31 and they’re looking pretty good !! Super Lemon Haze Auto flower from Greenhouse Seeds (on the right), and Whiskey Zulu auto flower from Twenty 20 Mendocino. Light schedule is and has always been 18/6.
