The last freeze we had all my damn azalea blooms froze!!!😡

I spent hours on end pruning and amending those plants last year to get them ready for this year for the damn weather to kill all my hard work!!!!

Similar setup here can go pick up free compost, gotta find a trailer, was just out back in the rain digging out drainage ditches to the river lol, heavy rain today garden was flooding, don’t wanna lose my good compost/ soil lol

I got lucky no big freeze so far, tulips continue to rise, wife had about 4 billion marigold seeds to plant this year so we’ll see how those do lol

Nothing has really started budding here yet other than my mama maple, she's usually 2 to 3 weeks ahead of everything else. My azaleas are still thoroughly frozen under leaves and snow.

It went from freezing to freaking Hawaii in a couple weeks. Watching beautiful blooms turn into ice blocks then turn into mush was just too much for me. I got out the pruning shears and cut them all off. I just couldn't stand to look at them anymore.......

Current temperature here? 76* at 10 p.m.!!!😒

Next week is calling for some 70 degree days, so we'll wake up one day and everything will be magically green. That's like a hit of straight serotonin to the brain after 6 months of cold lol.
I saw a meme the other day that said:

"Seasonal affective disorder doesn't seem like a real thing till it's 70 and sunny for the first time, and you feel like you took 2 hits of Molly."

Should have saved that one cause it's so true lol.

I had never heard that one, i love it. It is SOOO true. Here its been a windy roller coaster ride. I am back in the hills and hollers and watching trees and all green up is stunning and the animals are all enjoying it. Last two days were to hot, almost 90 and i was not ready, kept watching grow temps and thinking damn no a/c ready to go. Couldnt just open and air it out with it being stink fucking bug season and all. Picking stink bugs off 2 inch tall seedlings sucks, they hang on for dear life lol
My first grow with led, grew a lot with hid, how warm is to warm for auto seedlings?

Looks about right for April in New York... i remember when i was like 7 or 8 we had snow the end of May or beginning of June. New York is the menopausal state of the country for sure.

If anyone is wondering where I've been, been busy with school and not much else happening. So haven't been on much, miss you guys

So stressed out lately...
Wish I could figure this openGl shit down for this class. My advisor says this is the hardest class for the program to get my software degree, but that comfort is very limiting.

Anyways, on the upside, the roots in the cloner have never been so white, I put some great white in there a week ago, not sure if it's that or that they were already super white, cause I haven't checking on them lately.

I haven't been able to get rid of them locally as much as I would like. Talked to some shops here and they want lab tests before any kind of agreement can be made with regular clone exchanges. Oh well.

They have gotten out of control, and near too big to transfer now anyway. So I decided to flip them and make a sea of green 💚

After taming the jungle, spreading out the plants, and starting the flip, got 20 in there of various strains, so should be exciting. 125 watt cheapo light in a 2x2x4'.
They look a little rough from being handled and being out of the water for a little while, when I did a res change.

Mornin Zen!
Im running late this morn, actually slept in. Good thing is, no one can fire me! I sleep so little on the reg that when I finally do sleep, I’m down for the count.
Today, I’m trellising flowers before they decide to get get top heavy and lay over. This should catch me up on all of my green chores. Good thing too, I’ve got a shoot this weekend and that will keep me busy through Sunday.
