Great!! Very good product. I use 1 table spoons of each in 1 gallon of water. Every 4 th watering. 🤟

ok, i’ve had to grow pretty much in solid clay before, if it’s the same for you than i suggest you dig a pretty big hole at least 3 ft by 3 ft..
than fill up when you plant the plant.. you’ll have to feed her till finish, once the nutrients from the soil have been used up..
i used promix at the time amended with gaia green and i used liquid nutrients also..
you’ll have to do something similar..
or grow it in a 25 gallon grow bag type of idea (not in the ground)

My ground only goes a little past 2ft deep is that ok??

Think of it as if you're digging a pot for the plant. Roots beyond what you dig will have a hard time growing into the compacted soil much like the walls of a pot.

Wider, as GNick mentioned, will give your roots somewhere to go. Deeper would be better but if you don't have the depth then sideways.

He probably dug too close to the wall and hit the edge of the footing like you said.

OP are you digging in a flower bed next to your house? If so try digging at least a couple feet away frome the wall.

Im sorry not sorry to revive this post cause the OP already got what he was looking for but I just cant hold it anymore, as I told you guys I grow organic with AN and I was right when I said Iguana uses ph down and it doesnt have leonardite (Thats Ancient Earth, if you dont buy it you dont get any leonardite with the base nutes). Just look at the label in the backside on the bottle and it says very clear "phosphoric acid" which is the same chemical that my ph down is made of. So what I said stands true, even when growing with organic fertilizers you want to take care of your ph, when I use 4ml of iguana juice bloom per liter (the ammount it says on the label) without additives my ph goes below 6 which is not good for bloom, if according to you ph ups and down destroy the buffers in the soil, then AN is basically destroying my soil ph buffer which would explain the acidic runoff I talked about and will prove my point that even with organic, you gotta be careful. So what is it then? Didnt also kill the good bacteria? I told you it doesnt, and you guys treated me like I was ignorant. Needed to get this out of my chest, I wont argue anymore but organic = no need to check ph is not always true. And Iguana Juice stimulates the life of the substrate despite using phosphoric acid.
EDIT: Needless to say, had I followed your advice instead of what I knew, I would have burned my plants.

The short answer is NO you do not need to keep checking your PH growing in living earth totally organic. Microbes will keep it in check.

With that said there is a true old saying every rule has its exceptions. If I followed the no checking pH growing organic I would have burned to death a lot of grows. Just use common sense I don't check my pH much at all. But if I know I'm adding something known to send pH way off I do not trust my Microbes to regulate my water back to normal hell no I won't risk it I check it. If it's high I don't use chemical pH down I use organic methods to bring it back down. PopPop

I love how you keep throwing rude comments at me without actually adressing anything I say. As I said, had I followed the advice in this thread I would have totally burned my plants, I dont know why you guys need to be salty about it, shit happens. You were probably leaving out the liquid side of organic fertilizers.

I agree with you for the most part even tho I wouldnt say that you dont need to keep checking PH because microbes will keep it in check, if you give them a ph lesser than 5,5 like my water was with only Iguana Bloom youre mostly killing them. They do help regulate PH, but they also need a reasonable PH range which is 5,5 to 6,5. I could record a video on how my ph goes to 5 close to 4 when using 4ml of iguana juice in 1 liter of water but I dont think I need to go to that extreme... why would I lie about that. I also agree with the fact that it might no be always necessary to ph your solution with organics but in my case it was.

Well my first experience here was to be literally ridiculized by people for what I was saying so excuse me for not feeling it in this thread. I dont know what youre talking about, in other threads I agree with people most of the times, are you salty because I proved you wrong about the green spectrum? Thats one of the few times I have not agreed with someone and I gave you a 2022 study. Was I hostile at any point or did I make fun of you? Maybe its not just me the one who is being annoying you know?
EDIT: I also stay away from threads where I know I cant help because I dont know what the issue is. Im well aware that I dont know everything and I dont think Im more experienced than many people here but when Im right Im not gonna let people make fun of me. Even if I were not right there are other ways than throwing ironies and being rude.
