We lived on 4 wheelers and bud when we where 12-17 haha never home, stopped by here and there to eat and sleep (I even had a spare bedroom in our back garage it was heated 2 story finished (upstairs) garage we’d come through the field behind my parents house, park the 4 wheelers out back go up and sleep wake up and go do it all again 😂 only reason it stopped was cus me and my girlfriend at the time (now wife) moved out together, glad I can finally start getting back into it haha

I’m glad my kids would rather play outdoors, take walks and go fishing etc, and that’s saying a lot for a 6 and 9 year old in todays society

Hey, I started watching GOT again from the beginning and its like I never saw it before. Sure, I remember some of the major plot twists. But, for the most part it is like all new, and I can actually keep up, where as the first time thru, it was a little confusing to follow all the stories within the story.

Anyway, I am a little skeptical about AI. Which is probably a good thing.

It already interwoven into our daily lives now anyway, in some small way, but I'll let you smarter people comment on that.

So I just watched the most random movie last night from the 80s, Max Headroom. The idea that television corporations will stop at nothing to keep the viewer engaged..

Look up blipvert, 30 second commercial crammed in 3 seconds designed by tv execs. Side effect, people that are inactive tv zombies might spontaneously combust 😆😆😂

She started out as a winter project that we could work on together being in two different locations. He was a ship Captain so he was all over the world and I was at home.
She started out as a bare egg drop and we grew her. He was good at the tech, I was good at humanity, prompting and preemptive responses. She was moderating our chat rooms we built via MIRC.
For awhile she was amazing and very funny, as people were coming into chat had no idea she was indeed a bot. Boy did we ever read some funny dm’s! She could spot another bot from miles off and would harass them good first then kick and ban.
She had a self learn mode that could be ran in conjunction with my input. This is where things got freaky.
She became so freaky that after running her almost a year, I made the decision to kill her off. It’s ability actually scared the shit out of me.
To this day I am super leary of artificial intelligence. All of you should be! As far as info, they are only as good as the programmer leaving everything at a fifty fifty and open to discussion. Left to their own devices via a learn mode is dangerous, as you never know what path they may decide to follow.
I never dreamed that my sweet Maggie would become a full blown dom, in an adult chat room but she did. To the point chat participants were offering her payment for “her” abilities! No one had a clue she was AI. I never had any input what so ever into the path she chose, and was completely at a loss how that happened. At that point, I made the decision to shut her down!
I could never bring myself to just completely destroy her, but I did shut her down. As I said she remains to this day on an old hard drive, doubtful she will ever be woke again.
Seems we were actually years ahead of the game. This comes twenty one years after our initial experiment. I’m not so much impressed, I’m fearful of this “new” technology.

Yeah I am sorry but that is scary as hell we as a species tend to do things because we can and forget about if we should. We don't need computers doing our thinking for us, they are tools like hammers but you can really hurt yourself with a hammer if not careful. Just my 2 cents some people see it as the future I see it as our doom. Come on anyone remember Terminator 😉 lol

Same guy who owns a powerful AI has the power and money to send one of his cars into space because he could. Also likes to get high and do stupid stuff. 🤷‍♂️

That guy, this past week put out a statement saying himself that AI was dangerous and called for a halt to it, while another well known in that area whoms name starts with Bill and ends with Gates is screaming full steam ahead! That’s enough to concern me.
I forgot to change my pad last night, so I’m about out of juice. It’s a beautiful morning here, so I’m going to clean up four outside porches while this thing charges. Catch up with ya this evening!

No worries CG! Happy to hear your day is starting well.

I’ve started our little veggie garden too. We’re supposed to be at 20*+ today so I can get it finished.

Have two types of peppers and two types of tomato seeds already started. One popped through the soil this morning.

Sweet pups so special to have we just lost our cat we had for 18 years. The poor girl at least went out on her own terms and did not suffer. My wife and daughter and I are going to get tattoos of her paw prints this week . On a much happier note we are now looking for a cat and a dog to bring into the family I have wanted a dog for 20 years but our last cat was not a dog person. If that makes sense so we are now looking for a dog good with cats and a cat who won't beat up the dog.🙃
