Feel free to ask me anything that u may need to know about growing in any situation. I have a great deal of knowledge, I’m also a third generation cultivator. I want to see people with good medicine that they know is clean and created by them or someone who has passion for craft high quality medicine. I’m CaliKen and I’m from Oakland,CA. EBE9/14 is the name of my Cultivation in dedication to my son whom passed on 1/1/21.

So i have a question, what is the best and cheapest way to add IR and UVB light to a 3x3 grow space? im thinking 40w uvb lights from spider farmer. I just dont know if i can plug them in directly or i need a spider light and they are add ons....

If I’m not mistaken Spider Farmer UVB lights only plug into their panels. Also be sure to run your UV’s with your lights not separate.

Welcome, brother! Love me some Oaktown! About 150 miles north of you in red Bluff. Worked in Richmond for many years. Lived in V town for many years.

Very familiar with all of the Bay 😂 How far are u from Redding? I’ve been up there a few times with my Father back in the day, and I have family in Mendocino to this day

Welcome from a fellow Bay Area farmer.

I’m on the peninsula, a bit cooler and more humid than I’d like in the past while, but things are looking good for a little while anyway.
I’ll be looking in and hoping to learn, I have no specific questions at this time, but like learning what others are doing.

Hey welcome to the farm...my grow is going okay but I have a question about Brix %. Do you ever take readings with a refractometer? and how can we adjust the the feed to get a higher brix% ( sugars ) which I hear is a good thing......I get funny readings....my nice healthy leaves get a lower Brix.%@..7 than my yellowed leaves @10%...confusing my understanding of the brix % and the health of a plant....Is this anything you have experience with?
