It looks like that soil is going to need a lot of work. Do I see about six inches of topsoil? It looks like clay below that.

Oh yeah, it's complete shit... topsoil then clay/sand and rocks. I'm emptying the holes and filling them with good soil like I always do, it's just easier to reuse the holes that I already have and have used for a few years, but I want to move them to fit more in my space and to have them get max sun. I like to make my life harder lol.

I guess it's still easier than lugging the soil into the woods for my holes and digging holes through roots and boulders like I did back in the day... usually while getting eaten alive vy blackflies.

Treated myself to a Dunkin latte instead of making my own because it felt like too much effort. Forecast says rain now anyway. Thursday and Friday look good, but of course I have to work those days. I'm going to have to suck it up and bust out the poncho or my garden will never be prepped. Still have a bunch of other yard cleanup to do as well, plus I wanted to plant some perennial seeds that I have and some gladiolus... oh and my house is just always in need of some kind of cleaning.

I was doing chores. Had a vape to keep going. Woke up in chair @ noon.

Yep about 7 years ago lived in Sturgis my hole life - bee down every back road from Sturgis to auburn to ft. Wayne and north as well ! - ur gonna love the keys ! Another days drive though ! Beautiful scenery though! Hope ya go over the skyway bridge ? Kinda kool - gps will depend on traffic

Had a black YJ with hard top. But once summer...no top no doors and big marine box speakers.

She was up to 33” but loved 31” tires. Leaf spring lift and 12k lbs winch.

CB and 102” whip on the back.

Ah good old days.

Afternoon my Friend Zen!
Busy today, mixing dirt, prepping to up pot. Prepping seed cups for the first reg seeds I have popped in awhile.
Today and tomorrow are both stellar days to plant, the sign is in Cancer. I’m going to make the most of it!
As for me, the next time they take you, could you ask them if they will come along and download all these music files in my brain. It’s full. So full I can’t remember why I went upstairs to start with!

Outside of Key West is a restaurant called the Square Grouper. When you go in the first thing you notice is the cannabis leaves strung across the place. Story is, it was built on weed money, the weed having been found along the shoreline. Bales are referred to as square grouper in the Keys.
Food is fantastic!
If you are lucky you will run into a local willing to share some Key West Chocolate with you. Darkest weed I have ever seen and whew, what a buzz!

So full I can’t remember why I went upstairs to start with!

I read an article about that... why it's so common to forget what you went into a room for. Apparently, your brain takes note of your current environment, so that you can function in said environment, pulls up memories and such so you can navigate life and properly drive your meat suit smoothly and not die... so when you switch environments, it kind of resets, pulls up new memories related to that environment.... thus making you forget what you knew you needed in the previous environment... which is why you usually remember what you needed as soon as you go back to the place that you were when you originally decided you needed the thing in the first place lol... not a stoner or old age problem, just how our brains function.

Afternoon Wild Chyld I see you found a job to keep you out of trouble for five mins! How goes it with the ladies?

Trouble? Me? Never! They're looking good, LSD looks a little nitrogen heavy, might be sensitive ,or maybe I didn't mix as well as I should have, but she'll get over it. Shaman was pissed about being topped, but seems fine now. I dug one hole and laid out where I think I want my scrogs, trying to reuse at least one or two holes so I don't break my back digging. Have fungus gnats, think they were in the mushroom compost, so I think I'll let the ladies get very very dry so they hopefully die. Topped with DE and added some traps. They're all mushed into the closet because my Marshydro led started flickering so I'm down to just the florescent till we go out... getting mighty crowded in there.
