My 15th grow auto flowers(not including the several photo grows we did back in the 70s).
I’ll be doing photos this summer and some autos outside…

What I’ve learned
1). Ph your water (I use PH down
5 -1/4 tsp per 5 Gal H20 let sit 2 days (st. Louis water 9.5 alkalinity & plants having trouble absorbing nutrients). No more brown spots on plants as well as house plants with proper Ph…
2) Ph your water
3) Ph your water (I hope you are doing this or you get it because I didn’t for my first seven grows)
4)Add 3 to 4 Tbsp of Hoffman Chicken Manure mixed well into the soil.(before filling Pots)
5)Add 3 to 4 Tbsp worm Castings mixed well into the soil
(before filling Pots)
6) Water every 3 to 4 days, use your hands not your head !!! Meaning when top of soil feels dry and pot has reduced weight by 60 to 70% time to water…(don’t feel like you have to water every day, again use your hands not your head)
7) Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) are excellent And can help a lot of finicky plants which you will get with Auto’s
2 Tbsp per/Gal H20, I usually use the salts around day 15-20-25-30-40-50 range 3 or 4 times when general watering with no nutrients. (Water with nutrients next)
My plants are 64 and 46 days old in the picture attached.
8) If u get a stunted plant use the Epsom salt & Superthrive or BioAg Humic acid…stimulates roots, increases nutrient uptake.
I have seen at least five or six plants thrive on that stuff.
9) Add garden grade Cow Manure to soil when pre-mixing.
I use about 15% per total soil mix…(When we grew back in the 70s we actually grew on a Curtis bull breeding farm in Cary Il., their fields were full of shit seriously no bullshit story!!!!!!!
9) My lights height
25-30” seedlings
22-24” Veg
18-20” Flower
10) read up on LST & Supercroping training… also have some frog tape or any half-inch tape stuck to one of your lights because you will crack a branch & it’s hard to reach for the tape when you’re holding the branch from cracking all the way, as a matter of fact it just happened to me today on a real nice tall branch picture attached.
(Training is great to utilize 100% light efficiency, also have a box of 2 x 6 wood blocks that you can use as elevators for your pots to keep everybody close to the same height.)
11) it’s not a matter of if, but when you will get soil gnats.
Buy yellow gnat sticky paper, Cut into 2 x 3” sheets and put a shish kebab skewer through them push down into plant & and catch those suckers. It’s a yellow flag that says to the gnats Land on me !

12) Harvest-Trichomes cloudy not clear & ~ approximately 10% Amber , although my sativa‘s are harvested pretty much at 100% cloudy minimal Amber…
personally I remove all large leaves before hang drying my plants for nine days, I leave the sugar leaves on them…
And since I don’t like opening 21 quart jars twice a day for curing
I use a Lg food cooler with a screen in it where I place all my buds on top after I have trimmed the sugar leaves for curing 4-5 weeks, then I use jars & vacuum pack bags placed in jars in the refrigerator for storage @ 55-60% humidity. I keep cooler humidity at 55 to 63%, after about three or four days in the cooler the terpenes will start to smell great.
So buy a Hygrometer (humidity gauge) $6-7 At Petco, Lowe’s etc. It’s your best friend.
Note: It’s hard to wait nine days for drying before final trim & cure, but that is what you want the process of starting to convert Thca to Thc at a minimal level… Full conversion comes over 335°F when combusted in general.

Disclaimer: I didn’t read this whole thread so much of this may have been covered or other great ideas I am by no way an expert but can only repeat what works for me.

How long does it take you to trim that!!!! I just harvested my 3 plants and it took 12 hours to trim them. Only fan and leaves with no trichomes.

you in the flowering stage?..
generally it’s the first sign of light stress or possibly a calmag def just starting..

Am I gunna need calmag I don't have any or if I picked up Epsom salt would that do
it would be ideal to have a bootle of calmag available.. but i’ll tell ya when to use it.. which will be soon.,

A little more PMS training, trying to keep new Photos flat & wide.
(Great way to use old wine corks
for holding the load when mature).
Next will pinch off

Vigaro fabric and garden staples work great when taped to a shish kebab stick to keep your deer netting up in the air off the plant…

Week 4 of flower lets go baby.first 3 pics are of Lady 1 second 2 are of Lady 2. So far so good. It's been really humidity lately im hoping that rain comes soon to cool everything down. I may have to go buy a dehumidifier. Other than that everything looking good.

Looking alot better since you began! Dehumidifiers add heat and are not efficient in my experience. If you can get away with your exhaust fan only I would highly recommend that route. I personally have an AC unit which dehumidifys anyways and my exhaust fan brings the dryer cooler air in from my lung room aka bedroom lol the ac is to the left in the window out of view. I have a passive intake on the bottom creating negative pressure, works well for me.

Mines tucked away down stairs in my furnace room it's basically the coolest room in the house but as I mentioned the outside weather has been hot and sticky im sure after some rain it will improve. For the moment I'm just gunna let it ride. I have my exhaust fan on max speed running 24/7. I thought maybe I could dehumidifier the entire room instead of just the tent but that will involve spending more cash which I'd rather not do. Stupid canada with its stupid Trudeau got us basically eating dog food over her with the cost of things. Ps not sure why I didn't reply to your post instead of starting a new one

No worries and I totally get it. It took me a couple years to build my setup to something halfway decent and good luck to you under that tyrant. Wish my Canadian brothers the best, I am in new york state so it's not much better under Kathy hocul. Wish they would start thinking about the people not just the wealthy but it is what it is I guess. Your girls look good, i had a tent that I could not get under 60 percent for flower and I just kept the extractor fan moving and the oscillating fans and it was fine. Stressful time during it but it worked out with great airflow, think air flow was the key

Just looked again and ya humidity is up at like 76 blah. I turned up the oscillating fan to get air moving around atleast. I can for see this becoming a problem fingers crossed.

So update. Ladies are in week 5 or flower. Humidty is starting to come down thank god it's at 60 now I hope it still comes down more I guess time will tell. Should I stop feeding nutes at week 6 or keep feeding? First 3 pics are of plant 1 last 3 plant 2. Thoughts? Also I can smell bud in the tent a bit now it's not overwhelming yet and exscap8ng the tent tho carbon filter seems to be working..
