This is my last year of growing outdoors in VA. Every other morning I come out to broken branches that equal ounces lost. These plants are getting everything they need. No more storms. No animals on the trail cam. No evidence of root issues, leaves are telling me everything is good. I am at a loss. Fuck it.

Don’t give up just yet! Bigger plants need support. Last year I just loosely threw a horizontal trellis over all the plants without being tied to anything. Keeps the branches together and if wind hits the whole plant will sway together

Heya Stokes, it truly sucks that you’re losing branches the way you are I feel for you. Perhaps it’s some type of borer that comes up your main stem? I’m not sure cuz I don’t live down there and I’m not try to be a known it all I’m just guessing. Have you ever tried growing in pots on pallets? I have to grow that way up here in Ontario as borers and grubs will kill my plants here if I don’t keep them off the ground. Just a suggestion for you for next year?

My 2nd ever grow both outdoors

Hey, nice looking girls! Just curious is the flowering plant an auto or is it photoperiod? If it is a photo how is it so far ahead of the other photos?
It’s supposed to be a photo so I’m not sure. I was pulling it under the roof on my deck a cpl weeks ago because we were getting a lot of rain. It still gets light just not direct so I’m thinking I forced it into flower so I’ve just been bringing it under the roof at 8pm and putting back out at 6am to keep it from going back to veg. Seems to be working. I’m pretty sure that’s why I’m getting yellow leaves because I wasn’t expecting it to flower so I never fed it more pk. I’m hoping I have everything under control now. Buds are definitely getting bigger every day. Fingers crossed. Lol

Feed her she has a long way to go yet. She needs potassium bad and her bud development will greatly suffer. I would recommend roots organic terp tea for fast delivery
Thank you. I added some kelp meal two weeks ago and again today and have bumped up the Gaia bloom nutes. I feel like she’s getting better. Not much more turning yellow but the ones that were yellow are still dying. I’ll look into that tea. Thanks for the tips I know I still have a while to go so fingers crossed. If she seams to get worse I’ll definitely be trying the tea.

That's what I figured but I didn't want the other guy getting confused and accidentally feeding his plant all. That N in flower so I wanted to clarify.

I hadn't realized terp tea was formulated to be organic but still have a fast uptake similar to what chelation does for chemical ferts. (or atleast that's how I understand it after reading about terp tea).

I may also end up picking some up to have it in my cabinet incase I ever need faster nutrient Uptake than regular organics provide.
Thanks for clarifying I could definitely see myself getting the wrong one. Lol

Could be soil temperature, try shading or insulating the pot from direct sun. If the roots are stressed she feeds off lower leaves.
Never thought of that definitely going to keep that in mind. But I’m pretty sure it’s a deficiency because I wasn’t expecting it to flower so I never switched nutes. I’m feeling like she’s getting better so we’ll see. But I’ll definitely shade the pot too. Can’t hurt thanks for the info.

Carolina blue #2
Tri- leaf, extra bushy. I don't know if it developed the mutation due to stress or genetics. I do know the clone that I took of the Carolina number two ended up turning into a tri-leafer as well. I lollipop it to realize it was in beginning stages of flower. It's the only one out of all my girls that has went into flower except for my auto and my garden. I'll lollipop all the other ones and I started that one and that's when I realized it was in beginning stages of flower which was on me. I shouldn't expected it a little bit closer. Hopefully it doesn't send her in too much shock. Unfortunately, I've had a lot of rain and a lot of Japanese beetle problems, so I'm trying to not only thin everything out to prevent the powdery mildew and mold, but I've been battling the insect infestation. New England's really bad for the Japanese beetles this year.

My white LSD. She's probably about three or four weeks out from being finished. She's already really frosty and smelling pretty good. She's definitely a sativa dominant auto.

The rest of my girls are doing pretty good. They're getting really bushy and happy. I went through every single. One of them got rid of all the lower growth, lollipopt them and getting them girls ready to go into pre-flower.

First grow
1st plant(Runtz Cake bagseed)
2nd(Island Freeze bagseed)
3rd(Frosted Cherry Os autoflower)
4th(Gelato bagseed) I think this one will be a beast
Just noticed the Autoflower is just starting preflower ..was planted July 15th so like weeks in..is that early ?

super silver haze. both plants were started from seed at the same time, both grew indoors until about 2ft tall. After moving the girls outside, 1 took off and the other didn't want to grow. Both watered and fertilized the same.

And two that didn’t make it out to the playpen. I experiment on these before I take any harebrained schemes outback. That small pot dries out twice a day. The larger ones have to be soaked every morning. Between transpiration and evaporation these are some thirsty girls. Cooling off a little. Going to be 104° in about 15% humidity. Sweet!
