I’m growing 2 photoperiod plants from seed…..it’s been exactly 3 weeks old since they broke the surface.
A week ago I decided to move them from solo cups to 1 gal pots. The first plant slipped out and in perfect, but the other fell apart during the move.
The roots got all twisted and moved about. I finally got it transplanted and, as suspected, it shocked it and slowed down the growth.
Finally after a week, it looks to be recovering and I’m noticing some growth.
The other plant is now quite a bit bigger and is leaving her sister in the dust.
I figure it’s time to top the bigger one and I usually lop off the 6th node.
But I was wondering if it would be ok to top it above the 4th this time??
I thought it might help with the size difference and give the stunted one a chance to catch up.
Pics are from this morning and I’m pointing to where I’m considering the snip.
Lemme know what you think.
And thanks for chiming in.
