Ok, so I keep thinking and planning for next year's grow, but hubby thinks we have enough.
I have grown for 4 plus years and we don't consume very much. I grow the max, 12 plants and usually only 1/3 is harvestable. (we can keep all we grow) I make VERY strong oil and we use it just before beddy bye time.

Last week we had to call the water softener repair guy to figure out why it wasn't working.
The 'pump room', in the basement has the softener on one end and this on the other.
Maybe we do have enough?

On a more serious note, what in the world do I do with it all?
I've made hash a number of times, (lots of work and not outside in the winter), I'm currently dry sifting some, I've got Everclear in the cupboard.
I've given lots and lots away with the stipulation they don't tell people where they got it from. (don't want anyone knocking at the door.)

And I don't know how long to keep it. I've still got a little from 2019, the first year it was legal to grow your own.
Wish testing didn't cost so darn much so I could see if the THC has converted to CBN yet.
Checked out a couple places near me and one place wanted $75 to test potency and another wanted $125!
Oh, well, I can still just use myself as a guinea pig like I have been.

Hubby has said we could always have a bon fire and get the neighborhood 'lit'.

I bought a stainless steel tray and screen.
Do I dry the flowers more?

Just know, that you are a good enough grower, in a great area to grow it, you are crazy fortunate to be in that position when it happens, there’s some I let sit way to long that plum needed to be tossed. Wasn’t even worth burning. Shit, imo that is a wonderful problem to have!

I do a real simple sift over parchment paper with one of these coffee baskets. Its around 115 micron. The kief can be pressed in a tube with coins and a vice or just sprinkled loose in a joint or bowl. Try breaking your old buds up fine then shake it on your screen over parchment, no carding or sifting unless you have a a set of 70, 90 and 120 micron. Primitive but effective. How big are the holes in your screen?

I bought tiny jelly jars and put a little of every variety I have grown in them. I shouldn't expect they will stay good. Should I. Oh, well.

Put all the small jars in a dog food canister they keep shit safe from rats . Rats are alpha !

Dry the flower cracker dry and micron screen 220 is the largest to work with the smallest is 45 then run it over a 25 and keep all the stuff on top this time bug poop is less than 25 microns. Mold spores too. It can be pressed using frenchy canoli method. I use old bubble bags, it keeps terps better I found by accident. Direct comparison between dry sift and bubble same strain, I run hazes and skunks just to dry sift. The og strains press real good but sativa seems to yield better dry sift and ohs gees yield better washing, Afgani hash is pressed with heat and hydrated with tea or water to make famous black afgani hash. This is hand pressed.
