also advanced is better than fox..
ideally something like Aptus nutrients would be best to use as you can control the exact amount/ratio individually of NPK as per growth stage.. but waaay expensive… i’d love to use these nutrients!, maybe one day..View attachment 2065233View attachment 2065234View attachment 2065235View attachment 2065236
Looking into pricing it's cheaper than Advanced by an arm and a leg and another half leg🤣🤣🤣...

I might look into this for me next go around!!!

i’ve been stocked up for a few yrs now on nutrients and probably be next year before thinking about restocking… you say it’s cheaper than advanced?
maybe because of concentration and control of usage..
i’m sure it’s like $300-500 for a 5 litre jug, plus buying at least 3 for the npk.. than should get one of their additive ones as well, so 4 different bottles at the least..
looks like hydropros has all their products

Im.getting 1 gallon of the trio and 1 liters of basically everything else... the initial startup was about 1200... 300 for the "intro" kit then to restock and upgrade ya I'd say I'm 1200 in the stupid hole🤣

geez everything is going up up.. i’m currently using botanicare for 5-6 yrs now but i want more control over NPK application, so the thought of change has entered my mind..

Hey there JKash, do ya have a pic or two of the nutrients you purchased? I have decided to simplify once again lol and ordered
Green Rush Nutrients.

Hey, I use the General Hydroponics trio & Flurolicious in my soil grows, its easy to get, its relatively cheap, less than $50 Cdn a gallon delivered and they've been at it for a long time. I've been using there stuff for 25+ years and I've no intention on changing liquid feeds. If I went to dry I think it would be Jacks

Here we are at just about 3 weeks. After the suggestion by GNick55, I went ahead and purchased the Sensi Cal xtramag and used in the last 2 feedings. Nice green growth and generally happy looking plants.
The Cake Bomb in the 1gal pot was hit with
Mountain Yeti fem pollen from a friend.

Cheers

Sorry folks......I meant to type JKash, as they were the one to suggest the plants needed aom cal-mag.

GNick55 got me thinking....and I went ahead and ordered up some Green Rush Bloom, a super basic one part, organic powder. Its being used in my BCNL grow box on some Motor Breathe plants that are just starting the 12/12 cycle!

Wowzers, thats a lot of product for each run!
How much do you figure the nutrients cost per cycle?

Well I got the starter set at about 300 bucks and that got 4 plants start to finish... I had base nutes left over but needed to upgrade everything.... so all in im at 1200 with 1 gallon jugs of Grow bloom micro rhinoskin budcandy calmag....1 liters of everything else... im 14 plants in since getting those sizes and half way thru bottles... so for my plants and size bottles I got a few more cycles before replenishing again

This does not include calmag...1 gal is about 70 bucks... and also not included is bud factor x...100 bucks per liter

Yes gnick I can feel your side forehead vein pulsating from here🤣😁

Well thats it for those ladies! Falling all over the place even while staked up. Not the heaviest yield, BUT some really frosty buds!
Still drying out for another day or two before I jar it all up and let cure.

Has some pretty wild smells..... Whenever I would water, then go upstairs for a while, head back downstairs and had an instant memory of drinking wayyyy too much Tequila!!! Super fucked up memory, set off by the smell of the bud.

Here are the next batch in the flowering room. We are at about 3 weeks flowering now.
Taller plants are Orange Kush (4)
The 2 in bottom right corner are unknown?
One smaller, darker in colour, is Motor Breath and has a few branches dusted with Cake Bomb pollen.
These plants took a beating in the 1st week, my exhaust fan died while away for a hockey tournament!!

I should mention that I'm back using Advanced Nutrients Bloom, Micro and Big Bud.
Stick with one company for nutrients mixing different companies nutes can cause issues with chelation. Here I am again showing this chart for nutrient needs in flower

If you guys want a wide selection of ratios, check out, grow more. Must be 40 or 50 different choices. Ran into a couple of guys using that up in the triangle! I don’t know if it’s worth a shit but might be worth a look.
