Yeah, I'm also not sure how much UV this bulb has left and kind of worried it would burn a little plant. I see Amazon has 5000K bulbs for $11 so may get one of those.

Viparspectra recommends running their light at 24" 50% power. Kind of seems like a waste of energy if I can start them under 20 watt. Ambient temp will be in the low 70s but got a heat mat/dome for germination to bring it up.

When I veg with my vipar lights, and with seedlings especially, my lights are at 25% max for cuttings and seedlings at least 2ft above canopy. It is a waste of energy. For instance I run 5 “p” series vipar in my veg room, they are all at 45% 3ft above canopy….

This one measures 32"x32" and would probably be better suited for someone with more than 2 solo cups lol. There's also 8 watt 24" 6500K LED replacements that would fit in the fluorescent fixture. Might run to Home Depot and try one of those. Want to get started this week.

Bah, found out LED bulb would involve removing the fluorescent ballast and rewiring the holders. I'll just get the T12. lol

I wish I could grow more plants. I mean I could, but...

I agree with dragon, don’t scrap them let them dry back homie. Also, keep us updated on pics too man, it really makes helping out a lot easier. But I wouldn’t bail them yet.

Next we have a Big Bud 1989 strain that came off my previous Big Bud 1989 34yr old seed grow. I got seeds for this strain off a long time mainstream grower in Colorado. She is going to get the whole 4X4 tent when the Filipino Sativa is done.
Just topped her today. I'm going to veg her for 3 to 4 months before I flip.

Next lol we have Grimm Truffles from Grimm Brothers in Colorado.

I have posted this before but I'm trying to make believers out of people!!! I no longer have any trimming blues!!!in fact I now get excited using my trim bowl... 2lbs shucked in half day and trimmed in about 10 min

To be honest they are all made by basically 1 company in china... I got mine from vevor... ot was only 1 I could find where it was fully automatic.... mine was 225 at time and now it's like 240 or more when back in stock

The Viparspectra P2000 I'm running in my closet grow is really strong. I have it at 75% and the tops of my cherry alien autos are getting light burn. They stretched more than I wanted about 38" tall. So they are like 6" away and can't do anything because it'll rob light from the others if I lower it to 50%. I guess 20 hrs of light you don't need high par for maxing DLI at 40.

I rotated the pot so that top is not under the LED now

Think I panic watered last night. Ended up overwatering an already droopy plant. Thought the pot was rather light. Watered with just a liter to see if it would perk up but it dropped further. May just start over. I’ve put these 2 through hell since I begun. Lights were going off so didn’t get a pic.

I'm having a hard time telling when my 15 gallon pot is dry... it's freaking heavy no matter if dry or wet

Have that problem with the 25 week old Filipino Sativa I'm growing. Cause the 5 gal fabric pot is really heavy even dry. All those roots make it heavy. I can't wait to see the roots in that pot cause they say what is above is also below. I must have a pot of roots but somehow it still sucks up 2 gallons of water every 2 days lol.

I use a moisture meter probe but can tell the outside of the fabric pot. When it's dry all the stains show up. Then when the pot is wet it turns black again lol

Ohhh 5 gal is easy.... I have 7 gal and can easily tell when my half lb plant is dry or wet

I also did a t-plant last week in 15 gal pot... so middle is dry... outside is wet

They have gusto. Even for an older series they crank. I’ve had that happen.

On the harvest today. Doing some wet trimming after a dry trim. Seems a wet trim is doable with the weather round here these days. This one is going under the knife……
