Not specifically. But I do a bubble hash run every other harvest with my trim and larf. You looking for insight into what makes good hash weed? The answer is BIG HEADS LITTLE SHAFTS. I have a Dabpress that I use mostly on flower, though I have pressed hash before. I always fuck it up though, so mostly I only press flower.

Best tips I can give you:

1. LOW AND SLOW. Don't go too hot or too high on pressure.
2. Fresher the better. The lower your RH on the bud, the less you will get back.
3. Save all your rosin 'pucks' for infusing butter/coconut oil. I would estimate that pressing flower, you are probably leaving AT LEAST 35% of the shit in there cause pressing flower is super wasteful. So save those pucks! Makes for a great base for any edibles!

thats awesome to know! It’s just a small press with a 3x3 plate but he just went for it and ordered it, been watching some videos but most are more vague than they think they are being so it’s hard to follow along to success lol


It just a manual press I think can be adjusted up to 3 ton? It was 2 or 3 I believe

Same company as my Dabpress. I went with the 10-ton bottle jack press with the hand pump cause I like to have 1 hand free so I can choke the chicken while watching that golden goo come out from between the plates. With your press, I would look up "directional folding technique" for folding your parchment paper. That way you wont end up with rosin pouring out in all directions. Also, don't waste money on expensive parchment paper. The Reynalds shit is fine. Plus it has those lines printed on it so it's easy to cut the right size.

I use Press Club bags. For flower lately I have been using the 120 micron but only cause I am using my rosin mostly for edibles. You might want to go with lower number like 90 if you are vaping. For hash or kief, go with 25 micron.

thats why I haven't tried with my latest hash, just starting to get the hang of pressing flower with this new contraption!

same one I just got. Mine is 2 ton, I got it on sale for $189 so it seemed like a good entry level price.

Low on pressure too huh? I kinda thought it would be more pressure for better returns so I kept trying to crank the pressure. I'll experiment more.
The edge of the puck is sticky so I'm just tossing them in a jar, thx for the tips

I just use my dab press, every strain is different when it comes to the return you get. Nic the bruiser is one that comes to mind that does well, lemon cherry gelato also. Never tried any other way as its just too time consuming im a one man wrecking crew just trimming the shit gets old.

I run 190-200 temp and increase the pressure slowly eventually maxing the pump out. Think im using 120 micron bags, I think anything lower is for hash (could be wrong) If anyone with more experience has more tips post them if its cool with TF
