Thank you! I like growing in coco DWC hydro/aeroponics. And, nothing beats MH HPS lights for cannabis growing, but the heat can get excessive. Lots of fans.
Ya I finally made the switch from mh/hps to led 2 years ago... 18 years with hps/mh myself with a few plasma lights as well....

Where I am now I had to switch due to the heat issue...

My medic grow Ez-8 is 1000w at the wall... it compares nicely to my 1000w hps system... just throwing that out there if you ever do decide to switch

Indeed. I flipped her at about 11” tall. Lol. Stretched for a solid 4-5 weeks. Done in 13. Smelled like chocolate and grapefruit. Pretty trippy high. Going to do a run of sativas from seed this year and this will def be one of them.it flowered for 13 weeks?

This plant flowered for 13 weeks? Have you ever tried cloning? The clone is the same age as the original plant that it's cloned from, so each time you clone... even from another clone... it should be more dominant than the original seed. I just put a white Banner clone in the tent off the one I just harvested, and the stock is already bigger than the one I just harvested. It vegged for 2 months from clone.

Some of those sativa dominant gals take a solid 12 to 16 weeks depending on how ripe you want them. They can make me pretty twitchy if they’re not fairly ripe, so I like to let them get pretty mature. I definitely take lots of clones. At the moment, I am rolling with about 20 mother plants feeding into three flowering spaces. These were testers from seed that did not quite make the cut for moms. They were good, but not exceptional.

The clone can only degrade from the original mother. Just because you clone the plant doesn't make it "more dominant" for anything. Actually taking the clone from the mother will shorten flowering time, sometimes by weeks

If that is the case, then why are my buds from each clone healthier, thicker, and better than the one before? I'm not being scientific by any means. I'm going off of my own experience for the last 10 plus years of growing. I clone off of each clone. I don't have a mother plant. I do this with all of my strains from seed. I have a bunch of friends that also grow a lot of my clones. This is a discussion that could go on forever. Same as whether or not to leave your plant in darkness before harvesting, or if and when to flush before harvest... Etc...

I would think your experience with the strain pays of 2nd, 3rd, 4th run etc.
Can you show me any evidence of any plant, strain or tree that gets better after cloning?
The science says your comments is inaccurate. Clones degrade over time. The original Trainwreck is probably extinct due to this exact issue. They would just auto flower under 24 hrs of light. The genetics were old and tired.
This isn't a never ending conversation once you look at the science and how nature works.

It's just a thread to show off some big buds dude, I can show you with what I'm going right now the difference from what I just had. But, you'll need to wait about 9 to 10 weeks to see it. Either way this is not an argument at all and I'm not trying to prove you wrong. After 3 clones I just start new seeds with a different strain so I wouldn't know after that far. I do believe the science and I've seen all about it. There is also science about leaving your plants in darkness and flushing nutrients and people will still argue about that. I literally said it wasn't scientific it was only based on my own experience. I appreciate your input.

Werd! I'm still not sure about the dark thing...got any studies for it? I've heard it forever, but I grow outside. Not a reality I can obtain

I've done the darkness thing and never seen a difference. However with flushing nutrients I've seen a huge difference. Also just my own experience because I have an odd style of growing that I've really never seen anybody do before

Not to jump into an argument about some thing that I have no strong feelings about, but my experience has been mixed. Some plants clone really well. Other plants lose vigor pretty quickly after a few generations of cloning. Eventually, they all will lose vigor to some degree (epigenetic issues I believe for the science-y types among us). These opinions are just the product of a few decades of growing. No studies. For some, growing is like math. For others, it’s like poetry. I definitely fall into the latter category. Cheers

I would like to hear more about this perpetual grow!
Ya it's pretty simple... couple ways to do perpetual grows... stagger 2 grow sites... or have 1 tent strictly for veg and 1 for flower....but ya you constantly getting a harvest every 2 to 3 months...
