Does anybody happen to have experience with Chemdog #5 and Original Sour Diesel strains, specifically from around 2010, give or take a few years? What I'm wondering is if they are slow, moderate or fast in veg, if that's actually answerable. I've got some crosses I want to sprout to sex and then clone. Hoping to get the timing down reasonably well for the project..

I even taped another hygrometer to the sensor cable by the probe and they read the same. If I raise the probe closer to or above the light the reading goes down about 5%.

I ordered an el cheapo fan to act as an intake. It's actually a filter with a fan built into it. I thought the filter may help keep light and dust out. Hopefully that works. Can't be running 70% after the flip.

Okay I just did some cursory research. The humidity is far higher outside here. Apparently higher humidity typically lowers the intensity of aromas. So the opposite effect would be happening you would think. But, apparently floral scents are more pronounced in lower humidity and musky aroma are intensified in higher humidity. Myrcene is certainly more "musky" so it's probably not that the aromas are heightened in general, rather that it seems that way since the smell on my nose is so dramatically and instantly altered by stepping outside into the high humidity where mycrene would be intensified. But damn it's an intense change!!

And because everyone is just dying to hear me pontificate, maybe it's worth taking that into account when you are smelling your plants in a tent. If you have low humidity and very little funky aromas, but lots of zesty fruit and citrus, and then that changes after cure, it stands to reason that when the buds cure to 67% or whatever it is, that the aromas aren't really "evolving" into something more complex, but rather are being rounded out by virtue of the moisture content in the jar alone.. Maybe? Just a thought..

This is the only dehumidifier I have gotten that really pulls its weight. The smaller units imo just won’t ever pull enough because folks tents won’t get warm enough for them to work right. If you get a large one, you can set it to do what you want and over a week or so everything should stabilize, so it won’t run as much as it did when you first start running it eventually. Every lung room should have this or an available ac unit.
