Same here my parents did drugs and beat the fuck out of me, my dad is a phsycopath, not just tossing that around he could talk you into killing yourself and laugh about it. My mom has mental health issues bad. They were awful which pushed me into drugs, huge anti weed as well so I started doing the other real drugs instead that didnt stink.
Alcohol is weird. Some can drink and it never becomes a problem. My woman is like that. Take it or leave it never seen her lose control or get mean and violent. Stoners usually got there shit together unless there kids just starting out. I know all the pot heads I know have jobs and got life pretty much figured out.
I understand how serious it is to be a positive impact in there lives. I know it's my job to teach them how to live and operate in the world. I can see what the Almighty has done with my kids. I'm breaking generational curses. My kid don't know abuse or drugs. The cycle is being broken.
Weeds expensive but it last, it’s been used by the working class long before it became an illegal drug in the eyes of western culture, personally I think it makes dull and mundane duties and tasks more enjoyable. Ever since I was young I was always a daily smoker, and I didn’t want to run out. It became a staple in my life early on and subsequently I’ve almost always had a job since I started smoking. Keeping a head stash going continuously for 28 years now with only a few dry spells seems impressive, especially when you consider what you’d have to go through to keep any other drug in the world in constant supply for that long. That right there seems testament enough to the importance of this plant. I can really only think of three other vices that a person could have in constant supply for 28 years and they’re ironically enough legal. Caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. Pretty much anything else would have resulted in loss of life, imprisonment, or horrible quality of life.
