I’m have one that disappears from the control and stalls out when plugged in. Runs perfect when not connected to the controller.

Have you updated the controller's firmware recently? There was a problem that was fixed in an update. I don't know if the problem you're having is the same one, though.

but i got a question for yall do you think the lil blue light in the back of the fan will be a problem during lights out ?

Did you try a new UIS cable or different port?
Honestly if I was going to pick a piece of equipment that would run without the controller 69, it would be these fans. You're only ever going to want a gentle breeze anyways so you don't really need to control by temp or humidity, if anything you would raise a max of a speed or 2 in those situations. If you want to shut them off at night or if it gets cold or something like that, then that's a different story but I've not really needed the controller 69 for mine even though they're connected to it.

Lights shut off after a few seconds, mine did anyways.

cool i did not know that
Your talking about the speed setting lights/oscillating range lights correct? I want to make sure there's not a light I didn't see.

Anybody try it with the 69 pro, or one of the splitter dongles?

Yes, splitter dongle works unless you're trying to plug the right angle into it, then you need male/female adapter to make it straight. I have it connected to 69 pro but I don't see an option to run natural wind mode, only without using the 69 pro. You can use oscillate range with the 69 pro, you have to set it from the fan though.

Nice, thanks.
How can you tell what generation?
Check the back of the fan. Newty posted pics of the gen 2 a few pages back.

I put in my order. Bad part is I just ordered another one for my other tent.
