Yeah, probably! If I did it, it would be more to keep the population of pollinators up! The honey would just be a side benefit! Everyone has their own ideas on what constitutes environmental consciousness! There are a lot of people here in the business that rent them out! Around here, if anyone else had seen that jackrabbit, it would be dead!

Hey @Oldchucky! You mentioned the turkeys pecking at your plants? It took me a couple of days of searching photos but I found it.
A couple of years ago I had just finished planting the flowers I had started from seed and who shows up?!! She brought friends too!

Turkey

And here's the reason my cherry tomatoes all went missing when they turned ripe. Damn chipmunk!

Didn't bother them last year, hope he's gone. LOL

I’m surprised you don’t have a lot of them around there,Cpurrr. They are awesome birds! But can wreak havoc on a vegetable garden! And you sure caught that cute little varmint red-handed! And these walked by as I was reading your post! At least one young Tom!

Sorry to bomb your thread haha but would these be worth a F you think?

The reviews seem okay but people say the working room is more like 10x14 which seems super small.

This seems to be the best I can find at the moment in my price range, there is some 20x24 of a different brand but they’re used and about outta stock

No problem LB! I wouldn’t want to go less than 24 inch screens. you need that room for swirling, your gloved hand or whatever static separation method you use. Your basically separate the heads from the contaminants using static electricity, built-up. And you might be better off waiting and researching. The larger screens should come back into stock eventually. We are getting into the hot and humid season which isn’t conducive to dry sifting. i’ve just done it during the winter. From what I’ve gathered, it is tough to build up A static charge in warm and especially humid conditions. So I would kick back and take my time researching. from what I’ve seen, summer might be a better time for making ice water hash. I am still a noob when it comes to this stuff with limited experience. but I am going to keep experimenting during the spring, and maybe summer! See if I can come up with something that works. You need that static charge to clean the sift.

Right on, I appreciate the feedback dude!
I’m definitely going to keep on researching, I’ve been googling and watching YouTube videos but, I’m honestly not even sure the questions to ask.
I’m becoming fairly acquainted with the process but that’s just from YouTube videos and GNick but don’t really know anything haha.

I’m definitely intrigued and will be purchasing screens at some point in the future. More than likely I’ll be low tech, throwing portioned bags of weed in the freezer, sitting in a hot and humid room sitting but my passion has always been on a different level then finances.

Typically my son’s mom talks me out of these decisions, but you know what she said?
“Oh yeah start making hash I want to try some” 🤣

Hey @Oldchucky did you start any seeds yet?
Of course! I wouldn’t let you have all the fun,Cpurrr! Start a little late and flailing away as usual! The hi Tech bedroom floor, nursery!😆 Fems- golden sands and OG triploid for now. Regs-freak show, frosted Altoid, and what I’m kind of concentrating on making work, Arcadian , panjshir, Hunza Valley. Greek, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Respectively! Going to pop all of the Landrace I can, and see if I can get it to work! But they seem to require a little Mollycoddling to get going! And I’m not a good Molly coddler! Not nearly as far along and organized as you are! But I think they will enjoy getting out from underneath the plastic sun during the day for a while! Have to walk out back today and see how far down the water has to recede before I can get my fencing up! But I don’t think I’m gonna catch up to you! You’re killing it! All we can do is give it our best shot, sister!

Being so far ahead of last year means more work ahead of me. LOL

Gee, you're already into summer! That pond out back should be dry pretty soon!
And the youngin's look so cute!
I WAS going to offer some of my 'extras' to you but I don't think you need them. 😄
I have many more females than I can plant. Have to find people to give them to.

And good luck with those landrace seeds. Are you doing anything special to them to get them to crack?

Just a quick drag over some fine sandpaper! They pop in just distilled water, warm and dark. Getting them to come to the surface of the soil seems to be the tricky part! It’s always something! So it sounds like all of your plants showed their sex just like you wanted! Right on! I’ll probably be planting two or three to a pot! Lol! Whatever works.

Still waiting on a few, but really, too many plants. And being the hoader that I am, I don't want to let any go! LOL

We missed the northern lights last night. A combination of scattered and increasing clouds and a 9PM bedtime.
(hash cookies and working outside) 😉

Happy Saturday Oldchucky. Are you talking about from start to finish here or just to get some beans going? I ask because I was thinking about throwing a couple per 25gal smart pot all the way to finish, I was going to put a divider in the soil so the roots aren’t at odds🤷🏼‍♂️
Flailing makes it more fun, I throw some rhythm in there and kinda make it a dance😂 : ) those bigger plants are looking really good in the solos!

Happy Saturday, your own self! I was thinking about the dividers also! I’ve grown two to a pot a couple of times, and haven’t been real disappointed! 35 or 40 gallon. I bend my plants to the north! So with two, one goes north, and one goes south, and never the Twain shall meet! Hopefully!😂 but I think there is a certain amount of competition if you don’t divide them! From solos to two or 3 gallon, then into the final pot! Depending on what they look like! I’ve transplanted out of 7 1/2 gallon, but that took two hands!😃 wholeheartedly agree about the fun, fellow flailller! Keep the old gears of grinding upstairs! So flail away! Lol

Yeah, they’re more vigorous ones are the frosted Altoid! Found about 10 seeds when I was sifting some two-year-old bud! It is really good weed! Got it from,We Toke Chronic, here on the site about three years ago!

Yeah, but you get a lot of opportunities to see it! Us poor deprived shit kickers from Norcal only get one or two opportunities in a lifetime! I need all the big juju I can soak up! The aurora, eclipses, etc.😁
