i think it will do good dragon, but trustfalls stuff looks great man im not gonna lie. his frostette looks fire awesome breeder from what ive seen.

Gelato Day 22 of flower.

It's got a slightly sweet with something I can never put my finger on...it's just...sticky and a sweet dankness that's the best I can describe it.

It was fun growing this but I'd really actually like to breed the strain out and stabilize it at some point. I don't like the bit of twist from the fans. I'd breed in a hardier leaf. See? My brain is always on improving and learning...and it's always on.

Just some things...this gelato is awesome. It really is a hardy plant. Yes it is susceptible to pests and molds so the resiliency is low.
But I've not had the perfect environment this whole run. I went from a closet to a tent that took forever to get right and I'm still tweaking with it.
I need to put on here also that I've done 0 training with this plant. Awesome.

I wanted to put the pics with no lights on here too.

Watered and did a little trimming so buds could get more light.
It should be good now cuz it has the entire 4×4 tent to itself.

We have Gelato!!!
I finally got around to taking pics today. it's flowering so well. Don't mind the water burns I dropped a bit on the leaves when I watered it yesterday. It's beautiful to me. Not too big a decent size. I'll measure next week it should be done with any stretch by then. Thank you everyone!

Is there any trick to getting a plant to get so bushy and spread out without topping like your first picture? I went back to page 4 to make sure there was no training or topping and nope, is that just genetics or a combo of genetics and the trim job you did to open up the canopy for the branches? Looking beautiful man.

I think it's the genetics personally. It grew just like that. It loved when I trimmed it. Twice only did I trim. The rest was just the plant itself doing its thing. Pretty cool to me! Made growing it so easy!

I used a lot of fans though. Constant. Then I stopped using them so much just 1 little battery powered one on it. So it's like it went from spring to summer kinda. That was the environment I was aiming for anyhow. So it's now on 12/12 with summer like conditions as best as I can get em there.

Ze Gelato! I was a day late watering her and she was not happy about that.

I may have to tie up her branches they are starting to weigh down with buds.

All in all I'm pretty happy with this grow. A part of me wants to trim off ALL the fan leaves and be done with them and only have buds on the plant. I'm not gonna do that tho unless I get to clipping. Then it's over with.

This plant is so easy to grow man. I love how effortless it has been growing it so far.
Just bushy. Gonna measure everything later for my notes. I'll post up here too.

These are the parents. The hermi father and the female mother.

I think it took on most attributes from the father. The inside is bushier like the mother but no sativa like attributes are showing otherwise.

this one i have has no purple unfortunately i did not get the pheno. But i have plans to
phenohunt the gelato in the future and breed it in.

yeh nice dragon sounds like your on the right track. there where no doubt a few different phenos in the room. when the gelato where grown, one of the hermie ones could of hit another more stable pheno at the time. could be why theres kinda a mix of both. if the one you got there didnt herm thats great, they should be more like that to.

Note:

i have to put on here that the gelato has been growing under a Mars Hydro 100w light for the past couple weeks. So all the end flower will be attributed to this light. I like it. It's a nice little light for 1 plant.

Making this thread for my breeding. I love making new strains.

My goal: provide access to exotic seeds for the worldwide masses.
I want ppl to grow my seeds yo. I've been spreading them around here and there.
can't wait to see how this one turns out. BUT I'm happy regardless as this is Mt 1st successful breeding. Totally took advantage of what nature gave me.
