Guess who had to work today.

Had a drill bit break and the remainder went into my hand. Worked another couple hours like this with it wrapped in paper towels. Time to fucking retire. One more year and I can draw full ss. Gotta sign up for Medicare before the world explodes and this wound, that cut through muscle and nerves gets infected.

The stretch will start in a few days on the GDP and BBHP girls. The Rhubarb I've never grown so we'll see

With outdoor grows there's always a certain insect load that must be kept under control or the plant will suffer and not produce well. It can't be completely controlled unless stronger synthetic insecticides are used which also kills any beneficial insects and may not be safe to injest.

All will get neem this weekend, maybe twice as they do have some aphids and I need to keep them in check. Great thing about neem is it's natural and you can control the % of concentrate and I've sprayed several days in a row without harming plants. Kills aphids, spider mites, moth larvae and eggs, nematodes AND it treats PM. Neem oil is non-toxic to birds, mammals, bees and plants.

I'll continue to spray every other week until 2 weeks before harvest as it dissipates quickly and it's very easy to literally wash off.

If I could use only one Rx for plants, any plants it'd be neem oil.

I recieve no compensation from the neem oil producers, not even a reach around This is seriously just one grower to another

Time for a bowl or 5 and dinner and maybe some memes

i imagine the rails probably are worm gears with a friction plate or some kinda slip differential thing to keep jams from burning the motor.


But there were definitely guys on the forums using real long rails so they could light ridiculous sized grow rooms with single 1k lights and still pull good yields for the space. They just dropped the 1kw to about 12" off the tops because it never stayed in one place very long, you could get away with it. That was the attractive part for me about it. Lighting an entire damn basement with a single 1kw bulb lmao.

I dont grow to sell anymore though, so really its lost most of its attractiveness, its just moving parts to break in my mind now.

At one time I had job that recieved safety accident updates.

Some dude had taken a 4 inch angle grinder, removed the guard, added a 12 inch cut off wheel. He then proceeded to attempt to cut a manhole cover. The blade shattered. A large portion went into his skull, tomahawk style.

Yea my first grow was a power strip, 4 of those little ceramic plug sockets, a few 26w cfls, an old dell full tower case, and case fans wired to the old 12v NiCad flip phone chargers

That was a very satisfying 11g bag of fluff. I had got caught by mom, but she smoked too, and after the one run, i moved on to the downstairs closet with a 150w t5 panel like a baller

Cool read, this crap has been around for a loooong time in cannabis.

theres a lot more then tobacco mosaic around too.


The majority of cannabis variegation is actually triggered by one form of mosaic virus or another. And they often his different lineages with widely varying intensities too.

I have some goldenrods with some kind of slowly spready mosaic virus related variegation.

It actually infected my cannabis plants, and it gives Peaceblaster #2 and Biggs a half-skunk striped leaf finger here and there.


Ive had other mosaic viruses kill one plant, skunk stripe another, and leave the rest totally alone.



Idr if it was Mikedin or Gnick, maybe oldchucky lol, but one of them had aa (i think) chem plant that had a real nasty mosic vires related variegation, and it definitely caused the skunk stripe on his unrelated plants, and probably absolutely no symptoms on the rest.


Once there is a mosaic virus visible on one of your plants, its already in all of them. Be very* weary of variegation patterning in cannabis

eeesh. Not jealous there. Ive managed to go without a drill bit to the hand yet somehow. Not anything like that, yet anyway.

Its getting hard to see these days is about 7 or 8 years old, but just under my left knuckle on the back of my hand, i have a scar that reads "Ice". the "e" is mostly gone though thank god. Ive had some strange encounters over the years with people thinking i branded the word "Ice" into the back of my hand.... Nah, saws-all blade shattered at full tilt while very stupidly trying to cut chain link

those generate a lot of heat though, i actually green wire jumped one back in the day for testing that idea out. The cell phone chargers were quieter, and more effective at removing heat


Altho... I doubt you can even find those 12v NiCad chargers anymore though, all the lithium chargers are 5v. Im not sure that would even spin a pc fan or not. The 8v might, but they only run in 8v if the device requests 8v and a specific current load so would prob only run 5v regardless.

Im still not sure why, i buy movies, but i never watch them. I start them, and usually within 30 minutes i just have music on. I did finally watch A Clockwork Orange a couple months ago though, and it was a very strange movie but i loved it.
