And my adventures continue...
The porch plants are all Autos, or so I thought.
Now I understand messing up lighting and having a photo bloom early, but how did I mess up enough to turn an Auto into a Photo? 2 in second photo
I started all of these within 1 week of each other.

you’re handling it well. plants look great by the way.

Do you look at the trichomes? What color are they? I try to get at least 30% amber before I harvest, but it depends. If I see mold or we have more than 2 days of rain, it's a guarantee and I will chop. Lost too many to it.

A couple of years ago I went away for two weeks and when I came back my son had watered all the autos every day. One was completely brown with rot top to pot, and he thought it was normal. Aakkkkk 🙁 It was Charlotte's web. 🙁🙁

We are getting some warmer weather, in the mid to high 80's and high humidity. Summer!
The end of July through the middle of August are usually our hottest and most humid days.
Nothing like you have to battle. Hope your temps. drop to more comfortable levels. 🙂
Yes i have a jewelers loop and a magnifier with a light. I don't use the light though because it to me makes them look glassy. I look at them in natural light. Autos at least this batch has the tiniest heads so damn hard for me to view them. Anyway they are to me looking cloudy and like i said the hairs are changing to rusty red color. Oh i long for lots of amber but i never grew these CBD crosses before so i guess i just wait abit more possible 2wks for them. They are all 9 loosing leaf and all are yellow from draining any ferts do to watering 2x a day the roots just get washed. It's 105f at my place right now there's a large forest fire 2hrs south of me near to my sister's town. It's blowing smoke this way not bad like she's getting hammered, we've been able to put out the small ones here so far. Not lightning either......bum camps is what i call them illegal camping trashing large open spaces near our town.

I have had bud rot in Oct. a couple times when i had to place large plants in the greenhouse. This year doesn't look like rain anytime soon maybe mid Oct. But that's why i don't put them in the ground i limit mine with smaller size plants and pots. I just gotta get more consistaint with my perpetual grows LOL.

Posted this on the trainwreck thread but not everyone rides that crazy ass train. LOL

For those of us Outdoor growers, something to think about.

Why Beryl's rain isn't our ordinary Michigan rain

Excerpt from https://www.mlive.com/weather/2024/07/why-beryls-rain-isnt-our-ordinary-michigan-rain.html

"Now think about the different things that can be in a raindrop from Africa and the tropics. I haven’t seen any actual research on this but tropical rains can carry more and different nutrients within the drop. I call this rain, “the great green-up.” Look at your grass. Look at your vegetable and flower garden after the rain. If it’s not drowned out, your garden with go through robust growth this week. It will be like you fertilized it. It’s about to get nature’s “Miracle-Gro.”

There’s a downside of rain from another part of the world too. These rains and muggy air can bring plant diseases not normally in our area. Plants have an immune system too. They may not know how to fight off a certain airborne plant pathogen. You probably won’t notice this but growers of cucumbers, tomatoes and sugar beets may."

Got a river in the back of the property just like during the Spring thaw, but today the ground isn't frozen. So much water! Courtesy of Hurricane Beryl.

We have light rain today courtesy of the Beryl. Things are definitely nice and green. More rain tomorrow followed by a few of sun.

3 plants along the garage Left: Thought it was the Dirty Dancing but the plant is short and skunky. God Bud x Hawaiian Puff with the God Bud winning the genetics lottery. Middle is Grand Daddy Purple Ultraviolet which still hasn't shown gender. Right is Blood Milk and Sky.

Beautiful spot to grow and the plants look so healthy! Are you going to use stakes or trellis?

Thanks. Going with stakes and tying with yarn.

It's been a great year here with moderate rain on a regular basis. Early August used to be when the aggressive weather hit but last year was Sept. If it's like that this year 2 plants should be done be the time the really bad stuff hits.

Heya girl I’m very happy to see that you’re doing good without any major damage and your gals are ok too. I don’t have a rain gauge but thought we had close to 4 inches at least. It might take awhile to dry things up but all will be good after the weekend sun!!!

Its normal. They are called tillers. Could be from a high nitrogen dose mixed with ample watering and spacing. Usually a sign your corn has all it needs and then some. Its happy.

it’s all the carbon dioxide increasing as yrs go by making the planet greener increasing yields with the increase in heat, but it’s a last defense for most plants etc,.. in turn it’s really a slow kill.. kinda thing..

This was a runt

Thanks much! Your garden looks wonderful! So healthy.

Well, all the good I tried to do spraying everything yesterday just got un-done. Had a stray rain cloud pass by this morning and wash it all off. 🙁
On a positive note my early blooming Blood, Milk & Sky is looking good and starting to get frosty.
