Been getting 20 minute long downpours then 10 minutes clear on repeat 🤣 my driveway had 2” of water running through it like a river when I got out of my car 🤣
Our normal very early AM June Gloom in July is sympathetic.

Russian movies. This one is actually named "Cowboy Film".
Its fun that they still broadcast shit like this, this is Soviet era foo shoo. Sorry. Listening to Ice Cube in my earbuds at the same time. This is one hell of a multimedia experience. Vodka-western on TV, West Coast gangster rap in my ears AND sharing about it on a forum.

Im not even high. I wrote that and now it hit. I am absolutely shit stoned now.

I’m in NH and I literally noticed a lack of line clearing in spring, summer, and fall over the past three years as electricity prices continue to rise. Now a direct result we lose power in the winter months for days on end anytime we get wet snow. Two years in a row I was without power for over three days at a time. And my stupid ass still hasn’t bought a generator 😡.
Same here!! Infrastructure is dog shit and people are taking a shit too as far as competent intelligence hard working people

Several weeks ago I had a baby that got organic pesticide on it. Basically destroyed her but I felt I would take mercy and try to save her. This is a pic of where she is at today. She is fire of but I think I'm gonna call her "Daddy tried to kill me, og"!
Transplanted into a 3 gallon. See what she does.

So it's looking like I may be buying another backwoods property from the same old man i bought my current place from. He's done being a landlord and dealing with tweekers.

I'll prob have it surveyed Into two separate lots. And put a trailer on that back lot. And I'll rent both places out. Prob to some Californians that think 1200/month with a yard like this is a steal. (🤔😁😈) (I mean no offense)

Hell I may move into this one over winter and rent out place #1. No clue yet.

For those of us Outdoor growers, something to think about.

Why Beryl's rain isn't our ordinary Michigan rain

Excerpt from https://www.mlive.com/weather/2024/07/why-beryls-rain-isnt-our-ordinary-michigan-rain.html

"Now think about the different things that can be in a raindrop from Africa and the tropics. I haven’t seen any actual research on this but tropical rains can carry more and different nutrients within the drop. I call this rain, “the great green-up.” Look at your grass. Look at your vegetable and flower garden after the rain. If it’s not drowned out, your garden with go through robust growth this week. It will be like you fertilized it. It’s about to get nature’s “Miracle-Gro.”

There’s a downside of rain from another part of the world too. These rains and muggy air can bring plant diseases not normally in our area. Plants have an immune system too. They may not know how to fight off a certain airborne plant pathogen. You probably won’t notice this but growers of cucumbers, tomatoes and sugar beets may."
My veggie garden looks great, heavy downpours all day. Few plants knocked over, got them up and tied up before I left, cherry tomato plants are damn near flat on the ground they are so heavy, I’ll fix those after the rain stops and they can breathe and pick up a bit lol but I agree, everywhere up here in the northeast is gettin it!

I tied all my tomato plants up yesterday anticipating the rain. DID NOT realize how much rain there was until I looked at my backyard and saw a river. Was there until it stopped raining. Usually the only time this happens is when in the Spring when the snow melts and the ground is still frozen. So weird. Now everything's drying up. 🙂

Tomorrow will be spray day for bugs and diseases. Michigan State University Extension service says crops are starting to show signs of damage. 🙁
