Cool, thanks. I calculate mine should be done the second week of September. YAY!Popped them first of April, so about 12 weeks from seed.
Beautiful plant! I see the poles, do you have plans to support it more when the flower stretch comes?
Thanks. Most supports are in place just obscured by foliage. Poles go in before the roots reach the edge of the pot toward the end of June. Once the canopy opened up I decided on cordon placement. Still have a few to do. In the past I've used netting but was getting tired of having to surgically extract my harvest and ending up with a bunch of mangled nets. I've considered using cattle panels wrapped around them but then there is storage between seasons and the watering issue. I tried it for a minute on one pot. It didn't last long. I try to be careful about how I water. Over time channels form in your soil. You may notice that when you water it may not soak in evenly. That's because of an uneven channel distribution in your soil whish leads to progressively more uneven watering. Once they form, warer will naturally move to those spots and follow the path of least resistance. I water from the root cap toward the edge. Back and forth all the way around. If a pot is on uneven ground and water wants to flow to one side because of gravity then I water from the opposite side. I want to add enough at one time to be manageable but also allow for the water to pool a little. This will draw oxygen down into to root zone along with the water. Enclosures greatly impede proper watering. Still need to sort that one out.Beautiful plant! I see the poles, do you have plans to support it more when the flower stretch comes?
Sucks having to move them all in the heat, or even just having to move them, looking great.So. Oregon 105f dry an breezy i'm doing what i can for keeping these plants healthy. My onions an toms are doing great, they do fold up abit during the heat of late afternoon but spring back after sundown. I move 4 large photos under shade of maple tree after 1230pm it's like high desert temps right now depleting all moisture so feeding an watering daily. The bloomers Slurricanes get under a patio canopy as do the 9 autos on that table. It's a very challenging time but will be worth it. I just can't leave them alone without water for 24hrs right now so i'm doing local activities early mornings and after sundown. Graffitti weekend coming up locals with there old fixed up cars show off and do burnouts lots of music and parties.
Looking great.......what strains??More, a batch for 24'
It may sound like a strange answer but,"I do not know". To add an element of surprise this season I asked the girl to pick me out 5 indicas of her preference. A few weeks in now, and I have a nice little batch of varying growth characteristics happening, from a lil lanky to quite branchy and bushy (my favorite but not always my favorite smoke, but it usually equates to more larger colas when the nodes link them all together with flower. When they do get flowering it should be fun or interesting to see what the range of varieties look like.Sucks having to move them all in the heat, or even just having to move them, looking great.

The 2 blooming photos are Slurricane and the other 4 are Blueberry Muffin x3 and 1 WW x Purple Kush. I made the BBM from clones i took March 1st. The other WW x Pk is from seed she's gonna be a shorty like the 2 blooming slurricanes. The autos on the table are 9 different strains 5 CBD x and some strawberry shortcake crosses and some runtz crosses LOL. Hey it's only gonna be 95f today LOLSucks having to move them all in the heat, or even just having to move them, looking great.
