looks like rabbit
I'm so sorry 😞

I sprayed all around the garden and main stalks with peppermint oil, then cut plastic tree protectors to 8" and put those around some of them.
Thanks for your suggestion. I'll keep it in mind if I see any more damage. Such a battle. But worth it in the end. πŸ˜‰

LOL love the history behind your purple gang. Your autos look great to me. How much longer ya think for those? Now those trichs will be purple tinted right? Next summer imma gonna use my 3gal bags outdoors for autos. That's what i use indoors for them.

Thanks! My grandparents would make comments about the gang and I had no idea what they were talking about. (don't think I was supposed to be listening. LOL)
Their house was on lake St. Clair and when the lake was frozen people would 'import' illegal booze from Canada and store it in the house. Previous owners, not them. In the summer the basement had enough water to keep fish alive that were caught in the lake. Very colorful past.

I need to look at the purple trichomes but most of the flowers still have white pistils.

I also believe it was rabbit/rabbits. Saw one out and about so I started walking towards it and it just kept eating the grass until I got close, 10 feet.
The critters around here are too comforable with us people. Don't like it.
The damage seems to have stopped so I won't take drastic measures, yet. πŸ˜‰

That's not what's supposed to happen?

Shit, Tennessee coulda fooled me on that one.
Got a whole tenth of an inch of rain last night, probably didn't even get through the grass clipping mulch. πŸ˜’

Thinking of drastic measures to keep the trees more managable. Maybe topping them. I'm not after those huge fat nugs, just useable flowers without mold. And yes topping will make them bushier which may also be a problem, 'cause I'd like to be able to walk between. Yikes.

We're just about to flower time now so remember that before you do anything drastic.

I've cut out low branches to get airflow going and stakes and fence are holding remaining branches apart to keep airflow good. I've also started cleaning up the bottom leaves to allow better airflow. There's still more to do though.

Below left is Granddaddy Purple Ultraviolet. Right is Blood Milk and Sky. I'm going to have to watch mold on the BMS for sure.

We had these all over the garden up in the hills! Kept the gophers away no doubt!

Geeze if only we could get rain here what a God sent it would be. Oregon has over a 100 fires going all over the state. Hot as hell and dryer still. 89f feels like 115f. My plants were droopy cause i left for just a day and half. I had to go to my daughter's she's planning on getting married and so we needed to talk LOL. Not talk her out of it just talk LOL. Anyway i watered them as fast as i could first thing i did when i got home. All my toms an green beans are dehydrated i can't keep the soil damp for longer than 12hrs. I'm going to have to change the soil up for next season in my veg beds.
