I saw real rot for the first time this past winter. Nasty stuff and was a pain to clean in growing plants and I only kept them to take cuts but it's always nice to flower a mom. Of 5 plants I only flowered out one. The others went into the composter as I didn't feel it'd be worth the effort and these plants were in my large greenhouse. Can't imagine how they'd have faired outside😥
100% plumber!!

Thanks everyone, I think I'm going to move them into the garage. The tow behind grass/leaf catcher can stay outside for a few days.

Love these forecasts (not), I really think they're just trying to cover their ass. 😒

Weather

C I’m tired of all this rain fuck I don’t even get a chance at wet dry cycles anymore especially in the larger pots. The only idea and I don’t even know if it would work is to switch from mega crop to a top dress gaga green I try and minimize my water. If I cold somehow build a bunch cone of shames and mount them on top of my pots buying them at the vets would be very expensive maybe I can make them some how anyone have any ideas? Build a tent for each pot out of bamboo stakes and poly?
Be careful you take into account the wind that most times comes WITH the rain. I've put a few of the older autos in the greenhouse, but it gets too hot to leave them in there. And taking them in and out gets old fast. Did that in the Spring.
At least in the garage I can turn a fan on and have a bit dryer environment than outside.

Sooo much funnn!!! Yikes! 🙁

That's so hard to deal with all the weather you are getting. We've cooled abit here also. Low 80's but windy an of course dry. Both my lawns front and back are now yellow dry. I'm watering my bushes an trees but i could not keep the water going to help the lawns. All the Eastern parts of US are so green LOL we used to be until just a 5day heat wave sucked it out of everything. I could try harder on the front lawn but i quit for this summer. I need inground sprinklers badly at least for now in front.

Yes you'd loose those autos to rot/mold quickly if left out.

Being they’re in the soil I don’t want to dig them up so I could build a poly leanto just to protect them from the rain and the dew dunno sounds kinda iffy
Don't dig them up! But you know that.
And putting a cover over won't stop the humidity. But it may help dry out the roots a little. Maybe just cover the dirt?
I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you, and me.

I never discount shop lights. When all else fails.. 60% of the time, it works every time.

Southern Sierra "bush" technique for an overabundance of rain. Take a 2' long piece of PVC 1" in diameter. Put it a foot in the ground near but outside of your rooting area and cap it. Let mother nature ruin your day. When she's done, remove the pipe and you'll have a hole that will let water evaporate quickly. Before the evening and critters awake, fill the hole(s) back in loosely.

Fed the 12 photos:
2 gallons well water
1t Megacrop
1t Recharge
1/2t Big Bud

Wasn't supposed to rain until this afternoon... got caught in it and finshed the last three.
Came in, dried off and changed clothes, now it's stopping. Grrrrr

Need to get the autos in the garage. Thought I had time before the downpour. Geesh.

@GNick55
I've got 20 autos finishing within 1-2 weeks. Our weather forcast says rain every day.
Today we just had a downpour and they're soaked.
I'm planning to put them in the garage until they're done or the weather gets better.
I have found a few spots of mold and cut them out but nothing extreme.

I'd like to spray them down before going into the garage. What would you recommend?

well i’m an iso guy,.
50% strength and soak them everywhere but put the grow bags in something that the iso won’t penetrate the medium..
sure there’s other stuff as well that probably won’t hurt the medium might be more expensive considering the situation.

Okay, just for info., how is it the ISO sprayed on them does not dissolve the trics?
After all, we use alcohol to extract after they're dry.

oh their flowering?
than don’t as i want to do it myself so i know for sure what happens..
i’ve read it’s fine and does nothing but think that was in another thread on here yrs ago,
i’m going to cut of a small branch or bud and inspect it everywhere than i’ll put in a small jar of isopropyl for 5-10 mins than let air dry than inspect again while trying to not touch it or bang it etc to mess with results..
you could try this as well?
