Went out back and 'took care' of a few problem children. Didn't want to, but there's just not enough room for them all.
Angel '98s, both had low resistance to Septoria and probably wouldn't survive until harvest. The peanut butter herijuana was small and smashed between 2 larger plants. Skystone was in the wrong place and her sis is the star/biggest in the extras so she had to go.
Chopped 4 plants and majorly trimmed the rest. Sunk 2 fence posts to tie up the biggest girl on the block, Skystone and also Aurora Indica.

Also, had a couple of large branches break on 2 of the 12. I'm not stressing over it. Just cut them off and move on.

Looks great! The timing is also good too. They should really take off now.

Thanks, I know it's for the best, so why does it feel 'not good'.
And when I see those field grown huge plants I think, 'but no one trims their branches'. How do they grow so well?
We have been getting lots of rain down here too. My heart goes out to you..I would have fainted if a plant laid down on me. The fields normally get started in a greenhouse the go straight in the ground so early that they get hardy enough to take a beating. We would rarely have any damage from weather. I can't wait to see those big girls flower!!! Are you going to trellis them?

It’s a dirty job but sometimes these things just have to be done for the greater good 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I hadn't planned anything for the extras, because well, they're extras. LOL
In the past I just tied branches to branches to fenceposts to stakes. And by the time they're ready to harvest it looks like a crazy weed smoking spider web.

We set up the 12 so I wouldn't have to do that and so far the 12 have done really well.
I just had a really hard time trashing the others. And yes I did give some away, not enough.
Anyways, I have never used a trellis or netting.

Feeling better today so I played photographer. After tomorrow temps are more reasonable and I'll fix issues with broken branches. BTW, they are all listing/growing towards the South.

Beautiful plants! Awesome job! Still no sign of flower on the 11? Have you had a chance to try out a UV flashlight? Oh, yeah! I see the BMS is! And maybe the grape.

Thanks, the pics look great for the most part, but there is alot to fix. And we're about to get 1 1/2" rain tonight! 🙁
I'm going to cut a branch off Frostberry and bring it up to the house and check it. Tomorrow. Maybe. (maybe I'll remember) LOL

Beautiful Girls. Wth you mean "if your plants survive"? lmfao. That septoria aint gonna hold ya down.

Im gonna learn a lesson from ya. Next year, im going to plant as if every plant is going to get as freakishly huge as PB1 lmao.

I have to climb a ladder on uneven ground and take a panning video to even get all the girls in a single shot. Was on my back in the mud for several hours today working on their undersides 🤣

Just removing the old interior fan leaves who's branches have long shot up, and lolipopping the undersides and interiors, i filled a damn kitchen trash bag with plant matter lol. Take a step back, and it doesn't look like ive done anything at all

Definitely not envious of your fall work load, thats for sure. Im gonna send you some fast flowering sativas this winter if you'll let me lol. Im guessing in michigan, growing outdoors, you've probably never had the pleasure of harvesting, and processing a legit sativa have you? Pleasure is an appropriate word for it. I got a couple september sativas out there looks like. Budlets and trichomes before august even started. S1s and F1s this winter, stable to follow.

I'm optomistic, but I've lost alot to botrytis so I don't expect too much.
You will have your hands full as well if your Sativas produce what you say, but a month after I'm done. 😉

Damn lackadaisical genes man.
Like a person that walks and doesn’t completely lift thier feet.

Shuffling so you can hurry up and wait.😂
