I actually kept one of those balance scales because an older head back in KC I sold to didn't trust digital scales.

I tried to explain to her it's way easier to just slightly bend a thin metal arm to read wrong then mis-calibrate a digital scale in a way that isn't obviously off (it'll get more and nore off as weight is added). But she never bought that, and would only buy if I weighed it mechanically lol. They used to be made with more precision, but all of em today are cheap china MuMetal. None are accurate, but she still made me use it anyway

We always just hung a nickel off of it, worked great. Kinda, not really hahahaha

I’m balding like crazy though. My pony tail is on its last legs…….postal scales, if you were splitting a lid with your buddies, someone was getting boned hahahaha

I've never had a single one of those mechanical scales where if you bent the rod to read five at a nickel it's still red accurate at 1 g


That being said if only ever used the cheap Chinese headshop ones it costs like $4. I'm assuming back in the day they were a lot better

Cali Blues? I keep seeing this is several gardens, looked it up and the only real reference was Blue Dream x Hash Plant. Are these the genitics for that strain?

Crossed with the most blueberry blue dream pheno.
Found the purple thai parentage doing a large run, crossed it into a subsequent run and rolled with that, blue dream plant structure and vigor, and all the blueberry haze you can shake a stick at.

Oh yea.

My mom's postal scale claims to Weigh grams too. It doesn't.

You can throw something on there and we'll say 5 g, but you have to add like four more grams for it to go to 7. And it's not even accurate till you're up to the three or four oz area and then only to a tenth of an ounce xD. Qps and up are great on postal scales though lmao.

My boss who owns the electrical contractors I work for is a bit of a hoarder and he’s set up a mini museum of all the equipment he’s used over the years, he’s got hand crank drills, wind up ammeters, Tilly lamps and all sorts of tools that look more like torture instruments. We don’t know how easy we’ve got it with the tools we use these days ! I’ll try and get a pic next time I’m in the office

I did try some after I decarbed it and it wasn't nearly as strong as the fresher stuff. And it was a little green.
I made my cookies with last year's afghan auto hash and it was good. But you can't have any of that until I try THIS year's grow.

Im thinning in the front (still got it goin on though) but when it goes im growing a ponytail wearing my sandals with shorts and socks! It was a wedding day promise to my wife! HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!

i might be misunderstanding here, that happens all the time lmao, but 3yo weed is already going to be fully, and naturally decarbed even if it was air tight in the dark. the only way to prevent that is by sealing it in pure nitrogen or helium lol

If you heat decarb cannabis thats already naturally decarbed (like baking it, or just heating it) you are going to convert a lot of whats already decarbed into CBN, which is only like 10% as psychoactive as delta-9 thc, and is a little closer to CBD or CBG in it's effects.

Imho CBN is one of the most medically viable cannabinoids, but people that like to get good and baked tend not to care for it as much.


Honestly, old hash and old cannabis, long as it was stored well, tends to be my favorite highs, even if flavor is real lacking by then. But heating old already decarbed stuff will make it much weaker, yes. That has def been my experience making edibles with old hash and flower, just not with smoking it directly for whatever reason. Also, i dont think ive ever let it get quite 3 years old, 2 tops i think so far.
