You are very kind to offer and I'm sorry if I sound ungrateful. Just trying to be cautious about planning for next year.
(hate to say this out loud) When your our age, (cough, cough) ya try not to plan toooo far ahead. 😉
Oh no it's not that you seemed ungrateful, I thought maybe I was being pushy or overbearing. Me? Overbearing? Never.

Well if I end up with some seeds I think might do you friendly, I'll send em your way then. And you can dispose of them however you see fit

I was out trimming the 11 and found this. I did a little sleuthing and found it might be phytoplasma.
I found it on one main branch on one side of the plant and a smaller spot on a small branch on the other side.
Thinkin' it's systemic. Any idea what I can do?

no but thanks for looking into it. i couldn’t find a name for it,..

Lots of leafhoppers, lots of rain, another mold type pathogen. Great.
The problem is not really knowing for sure! Going to have to make a tough call! That’s why we grow so many! Good luck, sister! I know you’re snoozing! But maybe if you have some kind of college around there with an ag department, you can go ask them if they can take a look at a snip if you bring it in! Or even a picture.

Back when I first started, I watched a YouTube video of a guy up in Washington state had a beautiful 10 or 15 plant grow going! But he walked over to one of them and pointed to the base of the stalk. It had a couple of inches of gray, mold, type stuff encircling it! Said the plant was dead! Took his knife out, chopped it, and threw it to the goats! Said he tried and tried, and tried to save them, but was never successful! I guess that’s why Washington state isn’t the hotbed for outdoor growing! Sometimes the pestilence wins!

I never wash mine! Never spray Mine with anything! I sifted dirt, and all! L O L! And the bugs give it that regional flavor! I ain’t no Connie Sewer!
I live in between a lake a airport if I did that I wouldn't be here today 🙃 🤣 environment is everything 🙌 right now mine is not the greatest. Everything I spray I make 😌 IMO2 super labs ffj fpj jlf

Unfortunately the MSU extension service has an entire text messenging service for just this thing. 🙁
