doubt is organic, had to use it in a pinch to stop vertical growth and it did just that. as far as the extra yield claims?.....that still remains to be seen.

There are multiple threads on this topic on the board.

When this product first came out I talked to the owner of the company about it. he said it was all organic. Since then I've seen it compared to SuperBud (paclobutrazol) in it's effects...and that comparison has led some to say it is one and the same product. I have no vested interest in this product but if it isn't paclobutrazol (and I've seen no proof yet it is) I think it's unfair to make such an (uneducated?) comparison just because they do similar things.

years ago when this topic came up on another board a friend (also on this board) made the comment that he had used "Neptune's harvest fish and Seaweed (gruel) and it did the same thing as Bushmaster. (Both are made from kelp)

has anyone found proof in writing/via testing that Bushmaster has paclobutrazol in it or are folks just repeating bad info time and time again? i'm guessing the latter...

its also supposed to shorten the flowering period by drastically shortening the time the plant takes to react to the 12/12 light time. they claim it can take up to two weeks off of flower times.

According to the label it's kelp derived. The FDA approves labeling for product sales. People hyperventilate online with disinformation .

I use it for cab grows and stealth outdoor. In soil less 2ml per gallon for 3 or 4 days will stop any stretch. I veg until they get to the desired height... Pop them into flower and pow.

Useless uses it as a bud booster but am not sure how.

I had to use it this round because I had some unruly sours that were just going to go too big, I've heard so much on both sides of the argument that I think I'm just going to have to wait and see what it does.

certainly stopped the stretch, in a very very profound way.

When it first came out they said 10 mls a galon. Woah. Major stress....

Joker has it. Never seen any proof it's paclo/cancer causing/etc....just a rolling and building head of steam over the years based on rumor and speculation, not facts.

He also has the correct soil dosage down. Less than 2 mls a gal one time right at flip and it will slow/stop massive stretch and IMO, will help firm the buds up. This dose allows the plant to keep up the trich production at the samepace as bud formation...which at >>higher doses<< than 1-2 ml a gallon it seems as if the plant just can't make resin as fast as it makes bud...causing some strains to take a hit in taste/potency in many people's eyes.

As far as speeding things up....not @ lower doses.... and it's questionable at higher doses. IMO, ***IF*** it speeds it up it's because the plant stalls and stresses...then massively packs on bud as MUCH AS IT CAN out of that stress.

As an example...the first plant I ever did it on was a D-Man "Sunshine Daydream" that normally offered about 4-6 oz from a 2-3 ft plant in soil (5 gal pot). On this grow...with 10mls of bushmaster (recommended at the time)...the plant STOPPED growing at just under 2 ft where it was flipped...and proceeded to put on golf ball sized "nugs"... red hairs EVERYWHERE...that almost had to be broke up wiith a hammer...

a few folks STILL talk about the bag appeal on those...though it cut the harvest well in 1/2....

go EASY if you use it. BELIEVE that it works and that "less is more"!

i've used bushmaster on tons of massive sativas. it's crucial if if you have space limitations. you can grow any strain you please without worry of space issues. it stops any strech period and the plants grow out instead of up. it shortens the time plants take to show signs of flowers, and the buds come out super dense and loaded with resin. use with great care. i found my best result are 3ml per gallon then soak your soil. give 6 to 8 hours then flush from soil using plain water. if you let it sit in your soil to long it could put them under undo stress. i personally think every grower should have a small bottle in their line up just in case. i've had numerous plants that have had insane bud to plant ratio.

I went in to a friends room who was flooding trays with half perlite and half coco. He had 4 different strains and bushmastered half of each strain. The difference was night and day. If you want compact gurthy plants with faat nugs use bushmaster if you want tall lankier plants with skinny nugs don't use bushmaster

Ever since I saw the side by side I add bushmaster to my nute line up. The day after you add it you can tell a difference in flower production.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A PRODUCT WORK SO FAST

Has anybody had any experience foliar feeding bushmaster??

Has any body used bush master in DD's Med Buckets?

A little, more like taking a day or two off flower time with confidence that everything is completely done

I would say yes, but that depends on your strain, anything that stretches a lot for sure. It doesn't totally stop vertical growth, The plant just starts stacking nodes like crazy, It probably slow down the stretch by 75%,

I think it works best with plain water, if your in big pots just give it one drench, if running hydro my friends have had the best luck with running plain water for 3 days, or cutting back the nutes a lil' bit and only using 1 ml.

If anybody has good results foliar feeding I think that might even be better

well i have a badseed plant going i might do some experimental foliar applications to see how it works. i'd imagine you'd want to cut the dose in half right?

i just gave my plants a dose of 2ml per gallon for soil. we'll see how it goes. i had no height issues. hopefully i just get some nice tight nuggets.
