It has begun!
(Start Mortal Kombat theme)
Woke up to the pleasant sight of newly forming buds! Honestly I expected more stretch first. So from this point I'm officially growing bud! So exciting.

I had root bound issues on one of the girls. Put out a few questions and did some digging, literally, into the pot of the root bound girl and clawed out the majority of the solid clumps around the roots and below it. This was a result of bad watering and poor prep. I was so excited as i was slapping all the pots together and went too fast. Didn't soak the media well enough. My organics dried out and turned into a puck. I found it and smashed it and am reconditioning the soil. Well I did, yesterday. It's all done now and she looks good today. After the digging she was a bit upset so I expected to see her a bit limp today. Her color has improved and she looks lovely.
Outstanding. Gotta catch up.

Look at you, @AZreefer .

Beautifully done. And love that you got another tent. If I read correctly, you stated this was your first grow. Hope you are proud of yourself. Killing it.

Hey AZ neighbor. Do you have fruit flies or fungus gnats? Fruit flies would be coming from outside where as fungus gnats are coming from your soil. Food grade diatomaceous earth will kill them. It’s natural and won’t get you or your pets sick.
Second question, local seed bank in az the barbershop ? Seed connect or something like that?

Question 3 you grab those kind lights from sea of green? I guess you liked since you bought a second one?

Question 4 do you keep that tent flap open 24/7 that’s next to window and power outlet? I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me at first 🤣I was thinking is that a mirror?

I had to look that up. They are fungus gnats.

Seed connect in tempe.

I got the big light on Amazon for the free shipping and kindled site for the 220w for the add-ons because I got the tent at the same time so I saved a little.

The tent stays open now for heat control. The removable driver for the large light is on back order so the tent stays open. The window is double gas insulated less than 4 years old so it doesn't release much heat.

He’s a cool guy.

Peaky peaky in the perfume tent. Got 2.5 sprouts. Also a change of plans. I'm going to pot them and put these 3 autos outside and supplement the light with some grow bulbs when the time comes, because I dropped 3 Medusa to see how they do. I just really want to see how fast one of these F1s really go. That was the entire point of my buying them and the NLs were promos. 🤦🏼 The wife reminded me of this. So outside with the northern light autos and I'll do some Medusa in the tent.

I'm going to do the outside autos in 7 gallons of coco and water daily. That should keep me busy. The perfume tent is going to stay organic so I now have 2 pots full of indicanja waiting for their first plant.

I was scared this morning and saw some yellowing on the fan leaves and was nervous. I dropped a thread and got some good answers from @Sunin and @HerbalEdu, ty very much. I had read that as the buds developed that the leaves would do this but I thought it was not until the last few weeks. Which now that I say it like that after week 4 it is the last few weeks. 😅 It's not like I love smoking large volumes of weed daily. The coloration is mostly going on on the branches with some very choice looking buds. Buds I can't really get enough of looking at. They are getting frosty.

generally the rule is- if colour is going early and from downstairs leaves or on upper ones when buds are not on - it will be possible deficiency (except very dark, very purple strains)
If it's going from up, with frost and when buds are on- fade/treat of a strain more likely
Drops 8-10 at night help to bring colours out

And btw- some plants are going yellow no matter what you will do and put into the water and gallop even yellow or naked almost to the harvest. That happens too 🤣

I really do love this community!

So something super interesting I caught into this morning is 2 distinctly different aromas from the buds of these plants. Some of them have a very reefer smell and the others have a more subtle fruity almost rosey sweeter scent. It's very pleasant. Makes me so excited to smoke.

Yep the Blueberry Cupcake I'm growing has had older leaves fade really early and a lot of them. Doesn't seem to matter how much I feed her. Blueberry genetics, in general, have high N requirements during flowering but this girl can't seem to ever get enough if I go just by the leaf fade. I've noticed that with Blueberry Muffin also. Sometimes I hafta remind myself that it's normal and not to compare her to the others I'm growing. Whole they all seem to be pretty much on schedule, I have 2 of a few different strains and none of them are on the exactly the same schedule. Once I'm at this stage in flower, I don't rely on the big old fan leaves to diagnose deficiencies so much anymore but if I see it start to show on some of the younger old growth then I will considering it a potential issue. They are directing energy primarily to growing flowers. Those old leaves have served their purpose at this point so once the stored nutrients are used up they can be culled IMO.

After just 3 days in a cup with a straight sow in the seed starter the Medusa looks like she is almost ready to party. All 3 have begun to sprout so that is very cool. Serious having 2 seeds be duds and the first id used of them I was disappointed. All of the last 6 have been coming along.

For the Medusa autos I'm going to put them in a big pot tomorrow. 🤞🏼 I read not to transplant autos so I'm going to move the seedling since they are super tiny🤞🏼 I have them going into a 7 gallon pot of indicanja super soil. I might fuck them all up or they might be okay. Since they are still mostly tap root I think they should be alright if I'm super careful.

I'm brewing a shot of terp tea grow to bio charge. I plan on doing the same brew style just once per feed transition, so one for grow, which I'm doing now, one for bloom and the one for booster. Then I will just feed directly mixed in the water. I won't feed them again directly through veg, just water.

We got 3 Medusa seedlings with their hats off. I moved one of the seedlings into the last available pot for the moment. Hopefully all my potting media shows up today so I can move the rest of the seedlings before it pisses them off. One of the NLs did not get her hat off and it appears to be detrimental. No progress on her for at least 24 hours. Poor little sprout. If I were able to help I would but I'd rip her apart if I try. I'll keep the humidity up on her just in case.

5 out of 6 have made it to a seedling so I'm feeling alright about that.

Very gently try to remove it. Spray it with water. It will die if you don’t get the helmet off.

Maybe a qtip and tweezer. I guess I should try a little. She has been stuck since Friday.
