@cannafarmer420

Peaceblaster #1 shows land race the most. And mystery sativa very well may be a "mislabeled when planted in cup" peaceblaster herself. Lmao.

Mexi red x Afghani. I believe this would be Mexican x Columbian x Afghani technically. My only land race only plant. Afghani dominant in flower, quite sativa in veg growth

Feel free to ask any questions about any plant. I'd love for you to guinea pig any one of these phenos up north lol. You could probably tack on a week to my finish time for up there. Give or take

They're very likely to get tested and go through the ringer up here in the mountains this fall too.

I’m a sucker for the Mexi red! All looks good! Looks like the storm missed you. Sweet!
Hasn't stormed and almost a month and I got a week or two more of that looks like. Must have me confused with someone else lol.

Unless a storm missed me and I just didn't notice 🤣

She's a cool one. Wish I started her in spring with the big ones. Forgot about that seed til I refound it in my box.

Was very rapid in growth, giant sativa dom leaves. She probably made the largest leaves of any plant I've ever grown tbh. Massive. But when she fell into flower it's been those dense, round, Afghani ball buds all the way 🤤

Technically a skunk recreation attempt seed from a commercial grower friend.

@Itscheese94 Yo buddy. You are someone i keep trying to send a pm only to remember you limit who can view your profile.

I got a real funky stinky plant in that peaceblaster2. Little skunk, little cheese, little pine, the columbian raunch over top comin in nice now too. No sweetness, no fruit or citrus. Come inside smelling like her every evening. Sharp and pungeant. Goes right through the nose straight to the eyes lol. Fast flowering too. Absolutely top notch flowering structure too.

If you see anything in the garden you'd like to try out, ill be making S1s of my best phenos through winter.

Not trying to sell or start a trade, just share some coo genetics lol.

yeh sure buddy, sounds good man. ill send you pm sometime. ive some of that lime /lemon pine stuff think you would like. awesome smoke.

Yes it would. Its just more expensive to use that then pure citric solutions. Citric is best applied when the plant is still wet from a rain. And don't reapply until after the next rain. Can even prevent bud rot used appropriately.

And no citric acid does not kill the vast majority of insects beneficial or otherwise. I've seen that get mentioned a bit on the farm. It's put in pesticides because it drives insects elsewhere. They don't like it. They go somewhere else, and it breaks down much slower then other compounds. It's there to prevent rapid re-infestation once the actual pesticides break down 😉. The only citric acid solutions I've ever seen kill insects indiscriminately are pesticides containing it. And citric solutions containing a soap to break the waters surface tension, and in both cases, it is not the citric acid causing insect death. It will kill and prevent bacteria and fungi infection though. Very effectively. It's the most effective treatment for it ive ever seen work. I've never seen dead insects lying around after using it like i do with pyrethrin or spinosad. thats for sure. Ill see dead insects here and there for a day or two with pyrethrin. Ill see em for the next week straight with spinosad lol. If it rains within 12hrs or so of a spinosad or pyrethrin treatment, i even find dead earthworms on the surface of the topsoil.

It will drive away any Beneficial's. But it will also drive away many mites and pests all the same too.

If you treat a plant during times of extended fry weather with citric it can become phytotoxic. Heads up. But there's no real point in using it during times of drought anyway.

If you want to use citric solutions and remove any guess work and have convenient instructions, grower ally makes a really good citric solutions the greenhouse at the commercial facility in KC I worked at used.
yeh its all ways raining here to, so i dont think that would be a problem. im gonna try it just dilute the lemon n lime juice i could pick quite a few up here cheap. thanks for the help bud👍

I don’t have to spray much, but three years ago I used pure crop! Over priced citrus based, but the plants seem to love it! Citrus 🍊 has my vote!

I just don’t want to send you out there with anything you can use as a mixer for that half pint of Gilbeys you carry in your back pocket when you go check on them!🙃

If you guys remember that branch i broke putting the net up. The one that barely survived but i left hoping for some stress nanners to knock some of my winter seed runs off the list.

Well right here it sits half dead on my kitchen table.

Got some fem beans on the way the old fashioned careless, lazy and destructive way. 😎

Fem F2 between PB1 and 2. Fem F1 between PB1 and the mystery sativa, and probably a handful of S1s on the way.

Judging on the maturity of the S1 that was forming here, id say they probably popped out 2 weeks ago. Maybe 3. I believe the branch broke a little over a month ago right as the stretch was starting.
IMG 20240828 193545579

I noticed the Mystery sativa cola closest to the broken branch has some extra pistils going red early. Kicked me into inspection mode.

I personally consider this a score, and means 3 fem seed runs knocked off my list already 🤙

I think PB1 is gonna finish in October now too. That's be sweet. Still looking like mid September for the Mexi red. Late September to early October for PB2 and mystery sativa. Prob mid October for PB1

Mystery Sativa. Perfect flowering structure

Peaceblaster #2. Also perfect flowering structure

Peaceblaster #1 less perfect flowering structure. But still waaaay above average for a plant blooming outside. She got too big for her space unfortunately

Mexi red x Afghani. Cool, some more perfect flowering structure.

What's that ladies? You're brushing the septoria and PM from that apricot tree off like it's a fun challenge? Sweeeeeeet.

Peaceblaster #2 is so far most bug resistant, most fungi resistant, stinkiest, and probably best flower structure too.

The OJ x BB and the Biggs and Tammy's aren't doing so hot with the septoria. Will get some sun lit pics tomorrow. Treated Biggs and oj's for light pm spots here and there from all the recent dew and transpiration drips from the near by trees. Used citric acid solution.

I still don't think PM's and septorias and the kinds of fungi I got around here are going to bother a genuine Columbian lineage much, if at all. It's a bit of a "does a bear shit in the woods?" Kinda thing lol. Maybe once it gets cold. If they're not already done 🤣 will see with pheno 3 and 4. They're not fast phenos. They're on track to finish well into October for sure.
