I also have 1 falling over in the extras that I haven't decided whether to try to save. The two I propped up last time did not fair well and I had to cull them anyways.
Moral of the story boys and girls. Tie the damn branches up early, just in case. 🫤

You win some you loose some. That is the story of mother nature unfortunately. Guessing this and eternal sun's damages were what chucky was telling me about. Good thing you got lots and lots of plants. Momma nature aint gonna keep mama ganja nor you down for long.

I really hope this doesnt sound like im trying to lecture or something 😅

On my leggier plants i tend to take a cheap nylon net and go around the fence posts to cage it in for this very reason, i think you had asked me about that a bit ago idr for sure. For future reference since weather continues to get wilder, It is very cheap, easy to put up, and effective. Usually you only need to do 3 sides. 1 side open to the west for access is usually fine most places. Can even go across the top if ya feel like it. Some people also make goat wire cages and pop em over the plant like an inverted trash can early summer then do the side netting right before stretch. Im lazy so i just stake down an upside down tomato cage and bend the legs around to support the limbs. Often thats enough without the side netting. Ive only had like 3 plants entire grow history now that really felt needed the side netting. I pull it tight as i can get it, and zip tie it in place to the posts.

usually between now and october its here getting slammed by gnarly storms.

You are fine, and I kind of know what to do, it's actually doing it that has me stuck.
Last night after the storm, I looked at my plants with binoculars 'cause it was still thundering and the house is about 200 feet from the garden.
I thought I saw the Afghan flattened and was devastated. I didn't even want to go back out there again. But, turns out it was fine, not even 1 broken branch, alls right with the world again. LOL

I know what you mean, I had no desire to go see how bad it was when the rain stopped.

No, I'm not doing anything drastic. In fact, I'm not doing much without the advice of others first. I have no clue what I'm doing. And won't pretend to. Plus, I don't like being bitched at or scolded. 🥴🥴🤣

Thanks, everyone.

Outdoor growers are clearly a different breed. @cpurola , my hat is off to you.

Now I know what you guys are talking about with Septoria! I’m used to seeing pictures of a couple of spots on a few leaves! Holy crap!
At this point all my plants have it. Thought if I kept them healthy they might avoid getting it, but apparently not.
This morning was spent trimming off buds from the early flowering Blood, Milk & Sky. Most of the trics were cloudy, some amber, some clear.
I started with the healthy-ist ones first, but I was only able to harvest 1 out of 3 buds due to the blight and bud rot.

They went directly into h2o2 and water then into clear water, now into mesh drying trays hanging from the ceiling.
This is not a good year for my weed garden. 🙁

On a lighter note the tomatoes did fantastic! As did the zinnias, cosmos, snap dragons, dill and chamomile.

Heya C I’m happy your veggie garden wasn’t a bust. That septoria is so insane this year the plants that are nearest the infected tree, shrubs etc seem to become more infected than ones that are further away that will get cut down. Shitty cuz they hide my plants somewhat. Hang in there c you got this!

How bad are yours?

And I did notice, the plants that started to re-veg and grow lots more leaves do not have any disease inside near the trunk.
Definately wind blown and water driven spores. The tallest get it the worst. 🙁
