Outdoor grow in Southeast Michigan 2024

Blood Milk & Sky so far. I plan to go back out there after I cool and dry off a little. I'll let them drip dry before putting them in the mesh hangers. Best of luck to you. I went through this a few years ago. Surprisingly the weed ended up being very...

Best of luck to you. I went through this a few years ago. Surprisingly the weed ended up being very good, all things considered.
So, how did you harvest and process them?
I'm having to look through all the branches for bud rot as well.
Here's one of the worst, top, branches.

Wash, rinse, hang to drip in garage clothes line with several oscillating fans, all while wet trimming as much as you can, then back to hanging for about two weeks, jar and burp accordingly. Any Bud rot was usually discovered during wet trimming and tossed.

And for someone who already has enough for two lifetimes, put away, be discriminating!😁🐒 Don’t forget, it’s not always the destination! I know you don’t think that now! L O L! But when you are through, crying, you will laugh about it!

The wash and rinse part was dunking the branches in 55gallon drums. Didn’t seem to do much, being so sticky, but that’s how I did it.
Thanks. That's similar to how I do it. I usually wash branches in peroxide and lemon juice in plastic under bed boxes. Then rinse and hang.
This time, I'm cutting the buds off the branches, wash, rinse and put in a hanging mesh tray to dry them quicker, because of the Botrytis.
Glad to know the septoria won't be as big a problem as bud rot.

That because your doing it wrong 😆 I was show to use 3 buckets the first bucket gets 2 quarts of ho2o the 2nd gets 1 and the last is clean water then clean rinse. I let my branches sit in the solution until I come back with more branches and I move them up.

I didn’t say I did it right, I said that’s how I did it, 😂

I swear the bt I purchased and from that I fill my jar 3/4 with milk 2oz bt and 5 dollars worth of crickets and meal worms let that go for 5 to 7 days strain weight it up and add 50% brown sugar by the whey weight. I use it 2 table spoons per gallon. View attachment 2251312
This shit right here is fucking amazing at eliminating fungus Nats 🥰

It just seems so contagious! Almost like when too many birds are forced into a small area of water and get wiped out by the avian flu! Just spreads like wildfire! Gnarly! And doesn’t look like there’s a whole hell of a lot you can do about it! Almost makes p.m. look like child’s play!
yeh its everywhere here to i use a hand sanitizer, before and after touching other plants. that helps alot.

find some landraces with a similar climate and there shouldn’t be any issues ..
i’m waiting this yr to see if my friends plants get something as they have a few breeder stuff..
i’ve grown this gelato dream a few yrs in a row and never any issues outdoors..

Have a problem (another one), this time with the Peanut Butter Herijuana.
One branch suddenly wilted yesterday. I looked everywhere on the branch thinking it might have gotten chewed on but nothing.
Tried giving it water on that side of the plant, but it looked worse a couple hours later.
Next guess is that there is something going on with the roots. ?

Looks like it! I mentioned this to someone yesterday! Could be pythium! Give the roots good inspection if you have to whack it! Who’s next! Didn’t take long to get a volunteer!✌️

I hope it's not pythium. I can't move my grow spots. (well, I could, but my helper would NOT be helping) LOL

I should’ve known that by now you have pretty much edumacated yourself on everything that can go wrong! Something goes wonky here I’m heading straight for you! L O L! Good luck!

Cut off the wilted branch and nothing. REALLY don't want to dig it up. But the plant is slowly dieing.
Branch showed no reason it wilted.

Observations: The plants that bloomed first got the bud rot and leaf wilt the worst. After they started blooming we had 3 days of rain. 2 days dry then another day of rain 2 days dry another day of rain, etc.
The Afghan Outdoor and Snow Angel started blooming later and have no bud rot.

Also, the short Okanagan Grape early flowering in the extras are on the East side of much taller plants, thereby shielding them.
But the extras don't have the rot like the 12.
What did I do differently?
