I’m praying I come home to 2 new nodes per branch, he’ll I’m even tempted to see 2 new nodes per brach and do a full round of topping lol

Can’t be scurred now this is a competition! Go big or go home right?

I forgot these were tucked behind the cman x okie 🤣

First 3 pics are her reversed clone

Really wanna try the challenge plant in this tent but I don’t think I have her set up right for the height with the 1 gal pot it’s pretty tall

Sorry if I'm not as involved on the forum this week, I'm in trim jail 😅
I actually don't like calling it that, I'm one of the few that probably enjoys trimming.
I don't even use gloves, love how sticky and smelly my hands/fingers get, it's all just part of the experience!
I use to dread it, would take my 3-4 hours to do 2 ounces but now I can cut through 4-5 in a couple hours.
The AC Infinity Trim Tray I just got in the mail today is definitely making things more comfortable, able to sit back on the couch and go to it with the tray in my lap instead of hunched over a table with my back killing me.

Looking forward to getting the trimming all done as soon as possible because I'll be doing my first full run of Autos in my Spider Farmer 55"x28"x80" once everything is trimmed up.

BONUS

Mannn I know she’s all organic but damn these leaves are so big she can’t even pick em up she’s only 8” tall haha

Soooooo tempted to remove those massive fans

Opinions?

Yeah look at that brutal RH swing… all day baby! 🤣 let er ride 🤣

Personally I try to leave as much foliage on the plant as I can, especially the early formed larger fan leaves.

They are giant solar panels harnessing the energy for the plant, as well as mobile nutrient reserves. I will opt to tuck fan leaves if I can, rather than trim. I usually wait until they start to wilt, or the plant has tapped in to their nutrients before I remove.

kind of a spin off question with what Capt stated still being useful.

I was thinking yeah take them off, then I considered the amount of root generation those bigger leaves are doing? Thats the question lol, what’s the risk it to biscuit factor here? : )
Well healthy roots, drive plant growth. And healthy vigorous plants with lotsa leaves drive uptake. Less leaves less uptake, it’s about surface leaf exposure, generally speaking your rootzone should be the equivalent to plant matter above ground. Ball park. And with the height of that plant, you can def get away with opening up that top, and getting better airflow to the main stalk. I’m the type of dude who will sometimes daily, snag bitch ass fans. I’m constantly trying to open up for new growth.
If I have 10-15% light penetration to the top of the dirt, it helps achieve that balance faster.

I can dig it, a covered node that is blocked by a fan, the bud still grows and gets bigger. I used to tuck a lot more a while back, I always got too frustrated when they pop back to the spot I moved them from.
