Thanks for the info.
I'm going pull the trigger on a tent today.
It looks like they offer a complete setup and thats where I'm headed.
Thanks much!
You won’t regret it. Acinfinity is a super stand up company. They warrantied all there 6” fans. Didn’t have to return them just sent everyone a new one.

That I don't know. I have both my tents in my office, exhausting into my office and my central heat and air system meets my needs. During the summer I set my lights up to not run during the heat of the day and alls fine... I use cheap vaporizers and inkbird controllers for adding humidity. I never have to worry about dehumidification. Enjoy your journey!

Is that a Hornady lock n load classic I see? 🧐 lmao. I've had mine for many years. Recently got a Dillion progressive. Haven't had time to set it up yet. Nice office!

Yeah it's a LNL-AP,,, On the other end of the desk is a Dillon 550. Then I have my little Lee Bench behind me.

You're doing well with this advice, some people don't take it so well, you'll be up and running in no time 😁 you're going to love it here. Good news is you arent deep in gear yet, because a "complete setup" from somewhere like AC Infinity or Spiderfarmer or some other well-used product line here is the best place to start imo 😁 lots of people use those products here.

It’s been a minute. Had to check my notes .

44 Magnum Ruger single action/lever Action

19.5 gr of Alliant 2400 with a 240 gr JHC

Oooo oh Hell yea β˜ οΈπŸ’¨πŸ€“πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈβœŒοΈ

Hey OP, something that happened to me on my growing journey was to learn HOW I wanted to grow.

I’m growing perpetual now . ✌️

I’m in favor of a 2x4 veg tent and 4x4 flower tent.

I’m a fan of Spider Fatmer and AC infinity. There are others . Hope this helps πŸ’¨

Download the Photone app on your phone to read your lights. It’s 4.99 on the app to get the full spectrum white led setting. It’s what I use. Then get yourself grow dots and recharge. Easiest nutrients and water regiment for a beginner and you totally grow fire from it. Simple nutrients you but 75g in the soil for a 5 gallon and just water with recharge every other time and you don’t even need to worry about ph

have you used grow dots for photos? I just picked up a clone from a buddy, white runtz. needs to be transplanted and I was thinking about doing 5 gal bucket with 75g extended veg grow dots.

edit - is it really just water + recharge the entire cycle?

The extended version is for if you are going to grow a monster and veg it for a couple months to three months. I actually never grew with it yet. I’m going to order it once my fox farm nutrients run out. It really is water + recharge. You don’t want run off because it’ll rinse out your nutrients. It’s 15g per gallon of soil or coco.

Be careful with dry back of your soil or coco. To much dry back and the grow dots will make your soil to hot making nuts burn happen. If you use coco get canna coco brand. Nothing else except fox farm coco. I use those two brands exclusively. Otherwise the coco will mess your plant up I promise.

So I’m a month away from getting grow dots and recharge for perpetual grow. I’m super excited. I’ve been growing awhile and it’s a b**** to ph my water after mixing up all my nutrients and getting ppm right by diluting with 6.0 water. If I don’t give nutes I still got to oh my water. Compared to fill up a jug and water with recharge once a week. You will save so much time. This is the only tip I wish to pass on to a new grower. Save yourself many hours using this method. This will put less stress on you but your loved ones. You will be around them more since you won’t be mixing bottles of nutes up and whatnot. Idk about you but that is the selling point that has got me hooked.

Oh only other thing you’ll need is cal mag throughout your grow and molasses for the end of flower

If you go the grow dots and recharge route use coupon code β€œdude” for 10% off. Sign up for 10$ a month on the real DGC website and you get a special coupon code for 30% off. This is what I did so next month when I order my nutes and recharge it’ll be 30% off. I might even switch to the buckets but I got to get some things paid off first before I do another upgrade.

finnally found your light spec:

GS1000 Parameters

seem it's 400W old tech LED 51cmx28cm wich could be good enough for a 2x3 2x4 or eventually even a 3x3.

but even better if you want to get a full kit with some of the latest LED.

here a few of the most used and rather cheap LED brand.

spiderfarmer, hlg, ac infinity, vivosun, phlizon, lumatek, viparspectra, mars hydro

check their officals web site and compare, most of them have continentals warehouses, and officials websites ( .com, .uk, .eu, .au ,etc.)

For a tent size you usually find a range of 2-3 models per brand that will fit and scale.
Models with larger dimension and more Watt usually offer a more even light coverage and dispersion near tent borders but you may not use them 100% close to the plants.

Each brand will have their tweak regarding the spectrum, led layout, app, fan, orientability and whatever but truth is when it come to comparing the end results with panel equivalent in power amongst thoose brands you won't see much difference with the final results.

(i would avoid mars hydro TS series it's not uncommon some people had some issues with them, also i think most viparspectra new models are not fully dimmable but with step)

(i m with spiderfarmer, i like the simplicity of their fixtures and they had the best panel dimension for my 2x3 tents)

I totally agree on the lights.
I have the ability and time to do this right with the correct tools knowledge.
I appreciate the info!

Excellent info! I ordered a 4x4 complete setup.
Vesvosun brand, 4x4.
I'm not sure of the light but it should be better than what I borrowed.
Thank you!

I will try that when I'm further along getting setup.

People will always have biases on brands. All brands will have defective lights at times. This TSW2000 is my 2nd mars hydro light and they've both been going strong for over a year. For less than $200 it's hard to beat for a 300w light. Never have to go over 75% on the power dial and these autos are getting 800-900 par.

That looks wonderful to me!!
I hope to be in this position over the next few months.
Thank You!

Well you definitely came to the right place. I've learned most of this stuff from these forums. My only advice, don't get discouraged by your first couple attempts. I'd also advise learning with photos first. They are much more forgiving than autoflowers.

Yes!
My Daughter and my Nephew both have been growing for 10/12 yrs.
They don't give me very good info.
That bums me out.
I've learned more here in a couple weeks than I thought possible.
Thanks much!
