My first grow is in cocoloco

72 hours of dry time on a pair of plants and 24 on the rest. I wish I had a hanging scale so could weigh them.


I thought I was going to be able to start smoking my stash by the time I need more. I see now that is not going to happen. One more trip to the dispensary will be needed to get me through the drying.

The auto grow is crazy fun to watch! I've got them loosely lollipoped and defoliated. Bud sites popping up like little super Saiyans. Lefty is pushing 3 feet and looking sweet.

Your next round is going well too. I have never grown autos before but I love watching people work with them.

Man your journeys been wild shame about the Hermies this is my biggest fear of photoperiods it's why I will stick to autos... On that note your killing it with them, yours are a few days older than mine, I think, but nearly twice as tall shows what that extra pot space does and I think the Coco is really helps the drybacks times which means you can get more feeds in I won't be cramming this many in again, next time I'll be doing a 3x3 9 pot setup with Coco.

Thanks I'll deffo be getting that as my media for the next run, I totally get that man it increases the enjoyment level tenfold or at least it does for me I find it makes me not necessarily care more but reminds me to keep caring and try different things based on what I'm seeing others do... So fun

That sounds amazing! Watching those buds develop must be really exciting, especially with your plant hitting 3 feet – Lefty must be thriving! Keep up the great work, and it sounds like you're really mastering the art of lollipopping and defoliating. Can't wait to hear more about your grow!

Id absolutely recommend trying the indicanja. My plant is THRIVING, and @AZreefer is obviously having great success as well!

Chop day for the cocoloco grow. I'm fucking stoked as ever. Work snafu means I'm home for long enough to have done this:

My environment is far from perfect for the dry. I chopped 2 of them on Sunday and had put them in the shower.....to dry? So this morning I wake to find the girls left in the tent fucking laying down on the job. I start d to fix one and that made 2 more fall over. They were telling me they were too tired to go on. Branches I had never had a problem with and then it's all of a sudden on 4 plants. They were done. So I chopped and I hung them. I grabbed the 2 from the shower and put them with their sisters. My new nug press should be here today and I should have it ready to fuck with by the time these babies are dry.

So I almost made it. I'm not sure if this grow will be able to get me out the dispensary line forever just yet but I'm close. Oh soooooo close.
Since this weed is seedy I'm going to dry sift some as dry ice hash and press that into rosin. I'm going to deseed a bunch and press the flower directly and just to send I'm going to press a bunch of seeds and....hahaha okay I'm probably not going to press seeds. But if I get high enough I just might. I'm also going to smoke a bunch of joints. Make some edibles.

Most importantly I'm ready to begin the build for the hydro.

I have to get the lung room situated to accommodate the new toy

Ty ma'am. The rosin press was mandatory to escape the dispo because the wife loves her concentrates. I already picked that up. The desktop vaporizer will have to wait for an appropriate time.

Not the best angle but holding a tape measure and getting an accurate wide shot is sort of tough. Lefty is 34" and I suspect she is done stretching because the super Saiyan heads look like they might be swelling. I'm going to give the girls a shot of bloom booster tea brew in a couple days. Hot them with a bit of P & K. I am super nervous of over doing it though so I'm going to start the tea brewing tonight and keep measuring Lefty for height. If she stays at 34" for 48 hours I think her stretch is done.

Omg how long does a plant take to dry? I'm going crazy now being so close but still not able to smoke more than the few branches I did the speed dry to. I put a lower branch from each plant outside in the shade. Let them sit out until crispy then I put them back in the drying room to let them rehumidify. I smoked most of that this morning. The rush dry definitely killed the flavor because the joints had almost not taste. They got me stoned enough to show me something so that's very cool. Smoking stuff with the terps in tact will be even better!

And holy shit I grew some bomb weed man. Got a few seeds in all the bud so far but it's like 2 fat seeds when I find them so it's not even a big deal. I'm going even crazier now. I do believe it has been long enough on the first plants I took down as they have been drying them for 7 days now. This nug is not ready I just couldn't help but clean it and fantasize about the multitude of joints this bad girl is going to roll into for me!

I gotta say growing weed,my own organic loved and cared for has been a more thrilling and satisfying experience than I expected. I got in this to produce my smoke, not fall in love. What are you going to do? I have not been this absolutely in love unless it has been a new life changing even i.e. meeting my wife, meeting my kids, meeting my dog and growing my weed. . I'm not a flavor of the month hobbiest type and I haven't committed myself to a single endeavor on this level in my personal life. For the last 8 months now planning and execution for the appropriate biweekly allocation of funds has been the thoughts I fall asleep to. Planning my next few moves has been the topic of discussion during a smoke sesh with my partner. Fantasy about the reading or watching I've been doing. I have a pair of coworkers that I've infected with a grow itch because these 2 grew up working the green fields south of the boarder but have not grown since coming up north. They ask to see new pics daily and the auto show has pushed them over the edge. They have started buying equipment and I gave them some RQS northern lights auto promo seeds. I'm so excited for them. I'm so excited for me and the wife, and all you pot growers and cannabis enthusiasts.

Hell yeah I know that feeling dude, I fell in love with the process more than the smoke I think, even more so these days with autos and all the new gear and feeds etc that's available, it's awesome
