Bucket half full thinking ?
very much so. managed to make a dehumidifier happen thnks to my sister, so mthe worry about the hanging basement flower is dealt with. I have a couple weeks of propane in the pig if i gotta bust out the generator again. My sister brought a bunch of mac n cheeses and ramens and stuff over too lol.

Im just gonna batten down the hatches, do lots of trimming and flower processing, then make lots of hash. And keep a smile on my face. (i found my bubble bag pouch digging for the drop cord for the dehumidifier 🤙)

This is the mystery sativa alone. Prob a half pound or so by itself. Maybe nore. Is a fluffy sativa so no telling til it's jarred (or bucketed in this case LMAO) Gonna be a long week lmao.

Sorry to hear about all the weather ya'll are having. Hat's off to you real growers being able to withstand it. I'm spoiled here in So-Cal. High of 86 degrees, sunny with 10 mph winds. Not jealous of the rest of you at all. LOL. The buds are looking extra frosty today.

it was 83 and sunny from halfway through july to 3 days ago here in TN.

I got real lucky i had a season that good. The early pulls are still very high quality flower. And all my little gelato crosses and unknown indica doms already finished up about a week ago totally ripe.

We have talked about Dollywood. I was just using Pigeon. You didn't need to say anything more about location. Feel free to delete.
Nah I've mentioned Townsend a few times on here, and I also use a private VPN set up at my mom's place with a pf sense router I put together. Even to the mods it probably looks like in posting from about 2 hours further west then I actually am. All gravy. TN doesn't really take cannabis seriously anymore anyway. You're way more likely to suffer thieves then law enforcement activity here these days.

Hello Everyone!

This is my first post to the forum and I hope I get this right! I have 4 plants that I grew this summer. Two in 3 gallon pots with FoxFarm Happy Frog soil. The other two were straight soil grows. I used FoxFarm Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom for added nutrients.

First, I grew a Lemon Tree Punch and a Coffee Crisp from Greenpoint Seeds in the pots. They both germinated on May 30th, and I harvested the majority of both plants at 15 weeks (9/11/24). The CC grew to 40" and the LTP 48". The remaining buds were fertilized with AK47 pollen on 9/9/24; I picked up from Cascadia Seeds over on Strainly.

The other 2 plants are a White Widow Max and an Aurora Indica from MSNL seeds. The WWmax grew to 6' and was very bushy. I harvest 2/3 of her at 15 weeks. The other plant is supposed to be an Aurora Indica, but this one grew to 78" and doesn't look like the one's I've grown in the past. Either a different pheno or a mixed up seed, any thoughts? The remaining buds were also fertilized with AK47 pollen on 9/9/24.

I lost some of my pictures so I'll post what I have now and others to follow! Thanks for looking and any feedback! JP

It’s gonna miss me by about 50 miles you it’s going right for you I feel for you good luck 🤞plants look killer

i keep going to check during breaks in the wind.

Still havent lost anything else yet. Kinda shocked. I can see PB3's roots bulging at the sirface of the soil when a good blow happens, but no broken branches and i think shes just well enough gripped into the shale to hold on for dear life. She may actually make it through.

Youre up in michigan right? I imagine itll be making its way that way next lol.

im actually in the eye of low pressure right now. Dead center. Suns trying to peak, eerily calm. Winds are usually worse on the second half of these kinda of storms though so im being told.

Im in the tennessee mountains like 600 miles from any coast lines. Not used to being hit by tropical storms directly. This whole season has been one new experience after the next lol.

something useful ive learned over the last 3 days:

If you are being forced to harvest very large flowers in the rain. Counter intuitively leaving all the fan leaves, all that surface area... the branches will actually reabsorb all that water and cycle it MUCH faster if you dont pull the fan leaves off first.

Hang the branches whole for 24 hours without removing any fan leaves if theyre soaking wet. They panic absorb the water because no root system.

My buds i de-fanned immediately are still holding water, ones with fan leaves left on til now are all dry this afternoon.

So yea, works the other way around from usual if theres standing water in the flowers apparently.

The more ya know i guess. This is very useful information i think

Sorry im late to this post but i also have some dj short breeders cuts from a 1992 mother. Here they are almost done 2 more weeks i assume as long as they dont grow legs and walk away on me

Thoughts on why they look different being hybrids, one plant took after one parent’s traits, and the other took after the other parent.

Seeds are like human siblings. The same strain from the same parents but will look different and have different personalities because they take on different traits from different parents.
