Hi sounds like you have topped em already but I fim and trim at wk 3 by trim I mean remove side branches from bottom 4 nodes pics are 4 days after doing this. The results are quite variable some strains just carry on as one cola but obviously side branches catch up by time its recovered. Others go crazy and create multiple tops.

any reason you are not doing LST? i see maybe 4 tops that would benefit

I didn't top this run, just a little bit of LST and there's still a couple dozen heads on each plant all nice and level, plus a heap of stuff under the canopy. 4 plants in 20gal pots is plenty enough work for me. I'm in wk4 now.View attachment 2298070
First of all - holy buds that's a good plant! Secondly, I once tried not topping but breaking the main steam and let it heal. It looked weird but...actually gave a fat steam and more harvest. How bout that?

Thanks, I hope they come home strong. The best smoke I've had for a long time was from 2 of the same strain plants out of my last grow, which just recently ran out. These are my last 4 seeds of that strain.

Yes I've done that with some outdoor plants, as long as they aren't in flower they appear to even like it as it opens them up more. Pretty much any training is better than no training, even better if you can start while they are still flexible. I've done a big scrog before but it's much more difficult on my back compared to the pots that I can just spin on the plant stands to water and inspect or reposition under the lights etc.

Clones topped early. I only top once and when I do it early I get short bushes. I did a little tie down too.

I don't LST from the start i like to get my plants healthy and vigorous before I start any interference really from seed. I pot on at wk 3 fim and trim at the same time. End of this week I will super crop taller ladies (Afghan Mintzs bottom right will not require super cropping😂)and remove some fans then will get in with the yo yo's and spread/LST etc to get my desired canopy 9 plants 1.3×1.2m space.
