Well everyone, she just sprouted! :) the adventure begins again! Il have a better understanding of how shes lookin in the morning. For now, gonna increase humidity to 75% and watch. 80% brings the vpd down to 0.4 with the temps i have, thats just a little too low.

I gave a small splash of water after i took the picture, just to make sure she has enough. Probably less than 20ml. Just enough to get the soil wet again near the taproot, havent watered in a few days.

Really excited to start this adventure again!

Heres an update picture! Shes comin along just fine so far, nice and straight and the leaves are growing just fine. Cant wait to see how this goes!

Gave her another ~20ml distilled water. Turned light up to 30% intensity. Might start up the air pump soon, wanted to keep the humidity inside the tent as much as possible for now.

Update for everyone! Been a couple days, shes definitely showin the starts of a long leaf sativa strain, really excited! Been lowering humidity and increasing light intensity slowly over time so i dont stress her out early in her life

Here she is as of today! I think shes gonna be a lot taller than my last plant. Got a long and lanky look goin already lol im guessing the first true leaves should show within the next week, il switch to veg light spectrum after i see them :)

So this is a random question, and no i do not plan on testing this on my plant. What does everyone think about using bong water to water your plants? Lol someone at my 2nd job said theyv been using bing water to water their regular house plants (not cannabis) and they say its been doing really well.

Personally i think thats risky as fuck, who knows what kinds of bacteria and other microbes are growing in that water after extended use. One person on reddit said "if you cant drink it, then your plants cant drink it" but im fairly positive that if i tried to drink some of the purple cow liquid nutrients, or if i mixed really any plant nutrients into some water and drank it, id have a bad time lol so that was dumb advice. Welcome to the internet i guess lol

My stupid fancy humidifier is fighting me. It wont auto regulate the humidity, stopped randomly last night. So i had to turn it on a cycle mode, and that brought the humidity WAY too high, over 90%. So now my plant is stressed, leaves are twisting from the humidity fluctuations..... pretty irritating. And im not home to fix it until later today, so im just gonna have to find a way to manage the cycle while im at work....

She definitely isnt the happiest right now, my humidity is fluctuating WAY too much but i have no choice.... working with vivosun to fix the humidifier. Really hope we can get it working on auto again, or im gonna have to return it and il just pick up the ac infinity version, which honestly looks better anyways. It has an option to auto manage the vpd, and can put out a warm mist too. Wel see how it goes, il keep you all updated. Just about out of seedling stage now though, should switch to veg here within the next couple days :)

They had me send them a video of it not working lol sent that in late yesterday, so im hoping for a response today. Im fine with working with them to fix it, but after a certain point im gonna demand they send me a new unit or refund me. Hopefully it doesnt come to that

hopefully it’s a quick turn around for you! I get the fraud aspect but if your unit is within warranty AND you have a video of it not working, there should already be a new unit headed your way from the company : )

Aaaaand i fixed it! Just kept fuckin around with the plugs last night, unplugging things 1 by 1 and plugging back in, resetting, changing settings in general.... finally got it to work on auto again, so my plant is recovering quickly :)

Just switched her to veg stage last night right after fixing the auto humidity. Those first true leaves are big enough to consider out of seedling, i think lol

And my month long timelapse finished! But i set it to take 1 picture every hour and it seems like that isnt nearly enough, so the next one is gonna take a picture every 20 minutes instead. Il post that one too when its all done :)

Vivosun hasnt replied since my last email to them, could have replied to me yesterday but whatever, if they dont reply on monday il be a little pissed cuz thats crappy customer service. But the problems fixed so fuck it lol

Thats disgusting hahahaha, poor plants. Of course they can survive but theyre gonna be full of toxic chemicals released by the burning . Youre looking at no less than 110 different chemicals (and thats assuming its only weed), many of them carcinogenous, that come from the combustion of that bong. How long have they been torturing their plants? There's some really tough plants but I think they will die eventually if all they get is bong water. Also how is the some of that Garlic you have? I dont know if someone asked but Im curious.
