Hey y’all

Got a greenhouse autoflowers grow that has gone pretty well.

Came back from four days out and found a bunch of these fuckers. I’ve had yellowing leaves on plants for some time. My nutrients and watering schedule is kinda whack so I assumed it was me.

I don’t see any webbing, so don’t think it’s spider mites

Help a brother ID these? And how to address? I have captain jacks dead bug brew and this grow safe.

Not afraid to smoke some bugs but would like to avoid it if possible lol

Be my hero

dang! Hopefully it’s just bugs and you can dunk the plants. I’m on my phone right now and can’t see your pics that great.

they look like aphids buddy, the captain jacks dead bug is supposed to be really good. for treating them. by the look on the bottle there though the grow safe should do the trick.šŸ‘

on a positive note , to combat the aphids the plant will start developing loads more turpines and oils , that bud looks better than mine at that stage and i dont have aphids, perhaps you could send me some. lol i grow corsican mint as my cover crop as the strong peppermint smell is supposed to keep insects at bay.
i personally wouldnt use anything with citric acid especially on living soil, i went through 2 grows wondering why my rootball was tiny with fine hair like roots, and then i found out citric acid kills all bacteria and microrganisms...so i was trying to grow my soil biome, then killing it all every watering ( i was lowering my ph with lemon juice)

Both of these products should be on your shelf at all times I would if money is tight I would definitely get the captain Jack’s first. I’ve had that stuff decimate an early infestation and one go generally it takes about two treatments never Spray with the lights on always wait till lights out and then get them then. Spray underneath, and above the leaves along all the stems, and the top of the grow medium rinse and repeat until them fuckers are gone.

How far up into flower can one use that stuff!? I had aphids my last run mid to late flower and my ass was on the porch of the shed dunking the plants in water! 🤣 it worked! but god damed it was a mess and pain in the ass! hahaha! I have the dead bug concentrate and that shit is no joke! šŸ˜

If you're worried about the residue of any type of spray, perhaps releasing lady bugs is more up your alley.

Just keep in mind that all of those products claimed to be safe to use right up until harvest! Safe to consume! None of them say safe to smoke! You have to look out for your own ass! Same as it ever was! Same as it ever was!āœŒļø

Agreed, I’ve always been safe with everything I do. Wait, safety was never a concern. But smoking chemicals can’t be good for you.

I have some of the dead bug brew. At least my amazon search history says I do 🤣 I’ll dig around and spray them down tonight.

Had those little fuckers show up in my clone box recently. Thought they might be aphids but an insect identifier app said it was whitefly larvae. Misted some Dead Bug in there, problem solved.

These are aphids 100%. Maybe you did have whitefly larvae or maybe your phone wasnt right šŸ˜›

Ladybugs seems like the best approach by far. That said if you take any other route that is not ladybugs or hydrogen peroxide you will need to wash your buds after harvest, or I would at least. Washing buds is totally fine, you wont lose trichomes, maybe a few pistils. I would use osmotized water to not smoke tap water residues and if you wanna add hydrogen peroxide when washing use a second bucket with only water to rinse them off. Some people use sodium bicarbonate and lemon but I dont want any of that shit stuck in my buds.

Copy that. I did a bud wash on my first crop, it was outdoor and caught a surprising amount of bird shit šŸ’€ I just did one rinse with water/peroxide then two more water rinses. Seems to be okay. Also on a well.

I would rather not spray shit on them this late if I can, I might pull them out maybe tomorrow morning early and hose these girls down a touch and let them air dry.

Tell you what though after I move and get situated I’m ordering ladybugs and preying mantis eggs
