My earliest memory was 1986, I was 16.
My girlfriend’s big brother was the town dealer in aloha Oregon.
He didn’t have a car so I would take him to northeast Portland park on the side of the road and wait for him to come back.
I could smell his skunk bag coming a mile away. 1/2 #s mainly, 10 bucks a gram, 30 bucks 1/8th,

he ended up getting busted by John bonnel, fuck in prick!!
Interrogated all of us one at a time in the house bathroom had me sitting on the toilet.
They knew I was the driver but I was underage and couldn’t touch me.
There was 3 detectives, Bonnel questioning,
I ask “can you guys step out of the bathroom?”
Bonnel says “why there something hidden in here!”
I say “no, I need to take a shit”
He turned beet red,
Wanted to tear my head off
They tossed a sheet of acid he had in his wallet not realizing its drugs, just took the cash.
He just got done spreading the love, we dosed, they tore the shit out of the house. That was true skunk, lime green, sticky as fuck, it was what we called at the time “expandable” smoke in your lungs.
Just hit you like ton of bricks disgustingly drooling into the bong as your about to burst skunky smoke that’s burning your sinuses!
I remember every one just called it “The Kill”.

I love watching Cops to this day. I really like the old school episodes where they show pot busts in Southern California. What a different world it is out here today. My [adult] kids got stopped by the Rangers last weekend and had an ounce in a mason jar in the car which the guy saw. Still had the ounce when they got home too!

Closest i ever got was garlic bud phenotypes.
I'd rather just try some from a random "oh my fuken god you actually have the SKUNK!" kinda thing then a bunch of times seeing its around in threads on a internet connection.....Havent seen any rec dispensaries carrying it and if those guy could grab it they would cause they'd make a FUKEN KILLING off those phenotype flowers. So im cynical about how pervasive any true skunks are
Until i see those yoda's head golf ball nugs that make my nose hair burn from being to close to pepe le pews ass lmaop.

Used to have an uncle that lived in montgomery VT that chased men like old pepe here chased his quarry lmaop

Anyone find any good roadkill phenos yet? lol i ended up sourcing the bc roadkill cut i mentioned getting flower of while back on this post after pulling teeth practically. So far took about 15 cuttings and she is a vigorous and stanky as all hell in veg for sure. She does throw mutated leaves but nothing that impacts the growth whatsoever.might just have some trippy leaves time to time lol . Another cut i got from the same folks was ecsd and imo it's got a sour skunk terp profile to it with similar skunky terps in a weird sour way idk hard to pin point specifically cause it's all so absurd to the nose tbh lol

Yeah talk about pulling teeth ,i honestly was surprised when i met up n walked away with the cuts i wanted tbh. Well worth the time and energy for sure.plan on running her as long as I possibly can. Have a few ecsd beans from the old head who held the bc roadkill as well

Tried to touch base with the orig manufact, turns out they are struggling to respond back. Cant imagine why!

I just wanted to say that the last time I saw/smelled a wall walking pheno was from a blueberry trainwreck around 2011 in Toronto. was blueberry syrup up close, but a foot away, pure skunk. I had an 1/8 double bagged under my bed, and multiple people commented as soon as they opened the door to the house. Thiols are also extremely volatile. People have said that specifically prenylthiol is one of the main skunk spray smells in cannabis. There are several thiols (formerly called mercaptans) that give very skunky smells, and the main chemicals responsible for the smell in actualy skunk spray are thiols, and some very closely related ones (3-methyl-2-butene-1-thiol aka prenylthiol found in cannabis vs 3-methyl-1-butanethiol which is one of the main components of skunk spray) are found between cannabis and skunk spray. I don't want to flood the convo here, but just sharing some things I've found on my searches.

Thiols were never considered as they added no medical value to the crop, only a novelty. That's where skunk vanished to. We trades it for candy and armpit flavored weed since it had no intrinsic value.

What would a pharmaceutical-gone-Rec grower do in order to boost 321MBT now that skunk is all the rage instead of esters..? It's getting hydrogen sulfide from cysteine, but which fatty acid is providing the dimethylallyl alcohol? Something like prenyl hexanoate, prenyl butanoate perhaps? Something under 500 Dalton I can brew and patent... Just kidding only a fucking piece of shit would patent Skunk fertilizer..

Impossible to tell which Cannabis acid is sacrificing 3-methyl-2-buten-1-ol to the cause, since the cannabis industry is a lie, and only worries about those disgusting toxic terpene perfume molecules, and the oh so important easily synthesized thc molecule, no concern for the actual medicinal Cannabis goodies.

The Cannabis industry tells people that Lavender OG gets its flavor from linalool , and doesn't even test for linalyl acetate? Everyone worries about "preserving da terpies" when esters have much higher boiling points..? No one growing for precursors that break down into flavor molecules over time, while everyone is whining about shelf life..?

The Cannabis industry claimed myrcene was skunk until someone published a colorful pdf file claiming to rediscover 140 year old knowledge that myrcene is not skunk; now the weed industry claims myrcene is "earthy". Which is still a lie, myrcene smells like cheap grape suckers and I've never smelled myrcene on weed ever except for one myrcene specific breeding project which proved no one cares about weed with myrcene. Will the Cannabis industry ever stop lying about terpenes? Nope.

Really weird they keep tellings these lies about Cannabis flavors, featuring all these totally toxic, totally unrelated terpenes. Super weird. Doge thinks it's weird. Elon does I mean. The Cannabis industry is really weird.
