That’s actually something I’m looking at! I may run 2 seperate zones and really test some stuff out! These 30 gals seem pretty nice I was just eyeballing it and sitting near the 40% sweet spot on the bottom, I’ve been using literally 1.5 gallons so just about a half gallon a day since I set up and the initial watering with 1.5 gallons each slowly. Haven’t had a drip out the bottom of any of them so until I get the plants in i think I’m in the zone, the cover crop is all coming up nice so I’m letting that come in nice

Add in the GW2000 and smart watering timer and I believe I can set limits for each pot I gotta see how it was set up, but can water each pot individually with valves.
That's awesome I will definitely be following suit!

Movin forward a bit quickly but hey why not I’m antsy and have time, roots are long enough on these girls, popped em into some light recipe in 3” pots we’ll see how they fare still in 24 hour light in the 4x8 in their respective beds. I expect some droop we’ll see how they do humidity is low but still 10% higher than they had in the 2x2 but they are exposed to airflow now so I’ll monitor them for a bit

Frostette dosent have exposed roots yet just nubs I’ll let her go a bit longer, if these 2 clones take off I’ll pot up the other 2 of each pheno and ditch the old mothers, frostte is the one I really wanna see root up but she’ll be in the 4x4

Add a in-line carbon filter to help eat up the chlorine. I think it would be bad ass.

I w been being lazy. My local hydro store sells clones. Makes life super easy to just drop them in.

Yeah between saving one and keeping mother of all I figured just have 6 all fresh to start over with all the same size lol
It’s super nice I run down buy a few as needed. Few days ago I grabbed two soil fire genetics poppin bottles. He usually has pretty good strains and seem to be clean of bugs. But buying clones is always a huge gamble. I got russet mites in the past from clones and those things were bionic. Nothing wanted to kill them.

Yeah sucks cutting into the plant count but worth it if i know what I’m gunna run and I know for sure I like it, I wanna reduce to 2 mothers so one of the kahunas will be the keeper, as of last run that would be #3 but we’ll se who runs best in the living soil and that’ll help determine which is which, then I can do a seed plant each run in the 4x4 and run the Frostette and keeper kahuna in the 4x8 perpetually lol

And we’re set, all 3 have been chosen for the Frostette #6 series not the 4x4 and put in place we’ll see how they are in a few days!

Figuring about a week to acclimate to the climate and soil then I’ll get them into the big pots

I started with the white clover I was going. To do a mix but wanna try and find a good resource to select what types of cover crop I should run when in relation to cycles opposed or a full mix, any ideas of some good cover crop resources?

I always get my cover crop from Ian over at mountain organic botanicals! Big fan of buckwheat too, grows fast and helps scavenge Phosphorus.

You’d be the first person I would ask for that info : )
