Heyโya there!
Iโve stumbled across something that has me baffled because Iโve never even thought of it before. Lol! Maybe you might have run into this and have some insight? I am amidst a Feminized Cherry Pie grow that Iโd Mothered and taken cuttings from. They were later transplanted into bigger containers and vegged even longer until stable. Whence the time came the lights were flipped and flowering commenced. Hereโs what just happenedโฆ
As I looked around I happened to notice today at Week 5 that I suddenly have orange pistils showing up all over the place. At closer inspection IIโll be damned if I didnโt find a single male nanner hidden up underneath a lower bract that anyone would have missed. Hell I didnโt even think to look for nannerโs on a feminized plant. Novel concept. Sure schooled me. So my question isโฆ
Since these were Feminized seeds (which means that a female plant was โreversedโ in order to produce female offspring); What if she herself produces a single male nanner that knocks herself up? She was already reversed to begin with. Considering that this is a double reversal wouldnโt that open up a whole cacophony of chromosomal anomalies within her offspring? Will they herm? Will they be Super Heroes?! She also knocked up the Afghan Haze sitting next to her.
If anyone has any input please chime in. I am stumped.
