Our winters are mainly some rain and cold. You know, anything under 70F is COLD🤣 we've had a few cold weeks and we're supposed to get cold rain all this week but today it still beautiful.

Julian, oh man. Twin Pine Lodge is where my wife and I stayed many times. That area is gorgeous.
We love Julian. Always have and we always buy a qt of honey when we drive through. They've got honey from dozens of flowers and flower combinations. Truly unique.

We almost went to the Lodge this year but weren't expecting this weather when we made the reservations. Next year😉

It's all snowed in up there. We spend a couple nights there overlooking the lake in March a couple years ago. We stayed at the Quiet Mind and can't find the pictures right now. Here's a couple from the web

This was the corner room, we were next to it.

Lake Cuyamaca had snow all around. I've gotta find those pics😉 I got a great deal, off season, obviously but my wife wanted to go see the show. We drove into Julian and it was all melted but on the way to the resort there was snow everywhere. It was magical, honestly. Gotta find those pics!

This time was Dos Picos in Ramona. Cabin has a bath with tankless water heater. $75 a night is hard to beat and getting out of the city for a few days, PRICELESS🥰

Planning on a visit to Mt Laguna in May.

We did the Anza Borrego

Hoot and a nanny. We're literally on the edge of the desert. Did one hike and saw a family of Big Horn. There's people that have never seen these even though they've hiked many times.

Our Anniversary is Saint Patty's day, we fkin' Irish🤣 so every year, depending on the weather we try to get away for a couple days. Just worked out a week earlier and with the current weather forcast I'm glad we went now instead of next week.

Took a trip out to Anza Borrego when I was 15 to go out there and drop LSD. We stopped at an old mine the back side of Julian on the way out in the middle of the night. We went about 150 in or so, shared a joint and while passing it around we heard a dull "whump!" sound come from deeper in the mine and ran the fuck out before there was a cave-in. We stayed at the campground out there, hiked to the top of a hill and dosed, then tried to hike back down in the dark high on LSD. "Is that a rock or a cactus? Ouch! Fuck, it's a cactus!"

Another fun getaway was the La Jolla Reservation... Camping up there and going down the river on inner tubes. Fun times.

My wife did Res tubing as a kid. I've never stayed just driven through, again off season and very little water. We've got Dixon Lake and Lake Wolford literally down the street, 5 and 7 miles respectively. Still never been to Hodges about 10 miles but it's open only on weekends in summer.

We've been to Lake Moreno a couple times. Cabins but no attached bath. Outhouses 50' away but the view

There so many great places out here. Mt Laguna in May for the wife's bday and hoping Bishop again this September after the kids go back to school and the weather isn't freezing and Dixon Lake for my bday in December😉

Hey guys, what is everyone growing?
I'm only running a couple PBB x OKIE from Tengu Seed Co via 🤡 seeds ✌️
I just took down a monster cropped clone of the PBB X CMAN. About to harvest the Pineapple Express. In veg Ive got a big healthy Kahuna ready to flip in two weeks roughly. (Then there’s the Columbian x Mexican land races, another Kahuna , a Tropicana Cherry or Cookies x Okie, and Bob Barker which was cross of @Captspaulding ’s Mowie 86 and Kona Gold 86.) these plants are all in rough shape they’ve been stuck in the 2x2 waiting for a transplant and spot in the flower tent. Then there’s the Lazy Lightning seedlings, a couple Pineapple Express clones, and a single Columbian x Mexican Land race clone. That’s what I’m juggling horribly right now 🤣🤣🤣

You've got your hands full with all that, but definitely some great varieties!
