In the USA, the rules for growing depend on the state. My state requires a license to grow, and I have one. The license limits ordinary (non-commercial) folks like me to 15 plants at a time but doesn't specify inside or outside.

In Calley, it depends on the county or even the city you live in! For growing. The local governments run the growing show!

I don't believe local governments control growing here in Washington. I recall reading about how some of them banned sales when the state legalized recreational marijuana. It's ridiculous when people can simply drive a few miles, or, in most cases, just beyond the city limits.

I lived back east for a few years and was surprised to see some areas still had alcohol prohibition. Just outside of their boundaries, there would be huge liquor superstores. I never saw anything like that here.

It wasn’t that long ago in Washington that you had to go to a state run liquor store to buy alcohol if I’m not mistaken! Or at least hard liquor! 13 years ago!

Good old, Spaulding! Always the romantic! It won’t be long till they are both blips in an EV’s rearview mirror!😂🙁🥲😭
I had been planning and saving to buy an EV this year. Top of my list is a Chevy Blazer SS -- 615 horsepower and 0 to 60 in 3.4 seconds. That would beat my Corvette that can do it in 4.0 seconds. I changed my plan due to Trump's war on the auto industry. Now, I'm planning financial survival strategies instead.

True. Corporations (especially a local company called Costco) lobbied hard to be able to sell in their stores. So, the liquor stores went away. I liked them. They were a low-stress way to buy and there was always someone there to ask questions and get help. It costs more in the stores, too.

It took a voter initiative! All of the Alkies showed up at the polls for once!😂

That's also true. That said, the advertising campaign was intense. The corporations put a lot of money into it. I may have voted for it, too. It seemed like a good idea at the time. It doesn't mean there weren't some good things about the state-run stores.

lol I don’t mind it makes good reading
The only trouble I have is working out the slang
Like what’s a ev or pops gilbys
Breaking bad was a series here about some dude going gay so I wouldn’t be doing that sry to disappoint 🤣

Gilbeys gin. Pops are one and a half ounce shots or more! Yeah, I don’t think it had much gay in it! But a lot of bloodshed and violence! Lol! Maybe beefeaters would’ve been a better choice of gin! But thanks for being understanding, brother!

Those a**holes sure do and Kern is very unfriendly to cannabis cultivation due to all the agriculture. We can grow six plants as long as they’re not within view of anyone.
