Anybody grow tomatoes in a tent? I'm assuming the fans and me giving the stem a good shake is enough to pollinate them. Think I should get in there with a little paint brush?

Yes I have I did 2 got a few maters but wasent worth the space in the tent, especially what I produce in the garden yearly so even starting is a waste of space usually my wife is fine with me doing any any everything when it comes to the garden so I get free reign of all free space in the house to start seedlings… this woman is going to FUCKING KILL ME 5x tents all living soil massive 30 gallon pots and I’m gunna steal her pantry to start seedlings (don’t feel bad it’s a 14x14 bedroom lol, but yeah I’m lucky she loves me, she cooks my for she could easily eliminate me

I’m scared I’m adding up the cost of everything I’ve done so far in the tents recently haha

indoors under LED tomato plants can take lots of light intensity and a ton of feeding. but you can absolutely 100% out yield the same cultivar taking the same amount of space outside. They will taste a lot blander though.

You also have to give indoor tomato plants a ton of calcium. Like, a shit load lol. On moms winter tomatos i have her do bone meal in the soil, trace calmag in every watering, as well as the calcium leaf spray for bottom fruit rot, and you still see some calcium def occasionally on em.

This is off the top of my head… and I know for a fact I’m missing a ton, this does not include the pics of the new light, or any of the new spiderfarmer 3x3 gear coming, or existing amendments and lights or tents etc haha

I for unknown miscellaneous shit I’d easily add $300 I can’t even tel ya how many other items I’ve put into this since I started the living soil change over

Makes sense these were starts for outdoors.. I got too excited for spring and started these a way too early . Most are on windowsill around the house at this point, but now i want to leave this one in. Get a cherry tomato and then throw her in the dirt outside .
Got some blackberry and fig cuts started too, but they never set foot in a tent. The wife let me switch the bulb in the dining room to a veg light 50ppf on the dinner table .

Since last fall. I still have half a bottle of CAliMAGic too. I prefer the dry nutes over mixing liquids these days.

ill be honest i have figure i have undiagnosed insomnia sprinkled with a lifelong marinade of undiagnosed ADHD and OCD combined with full body pain and overworked to every bone in my body plus a few well learn exist in a few years when science gets even better. but im a father and sole provider of the house and enjoy my hobby so

im sitting here drinking jameson again and smokin joints staying awake to trick my body and brain into staying up late because i start midnight shifts tomorrow night.

id pick up an earthbox to put in the 3x3 but if the wife has to carry in more than whats already gunna show up over the next week while im working i may need a few pallbearers

my opinion is that i dont have one but would def be down to try it.


what i REALLY want, is to flower under grow light, tuned as close as is possible with our technology to the spectrum of the sun at 5pm on the fall equinox at sea level at the tropic of cancer, with a sunrise and sunset dim feature. Idc what the efficiency rating is. I can give a plant over 2000pffd for hours straight if its sunlight, and expect colas the size of my arm.

Not a light tuned to have the highest most efficient umol/watt rating possible that runs full blast 50 milliseconds after the timer triggers. In my opinion, that's called "doing it wrong"

is comparable to a smoker that cares more about the THC rating of a flower, then the actual qualities of the high or it's perceived potency upon consuming.
