Hi all just an update how long normally does it take for buds to appear during flowering stage should lights be increased to 700watt led im running tent is big enough for 4 pots lollipopped 2 days ago

most hybrid and indica will throw pistil on apex and forming buds within 2 3 weeks past 12/12 switch some sativa dominant hybrid may take longer

Hi all this is my first attempt in second week of flowering cycle blue sunset sherbert

Video to be fair sunset sherbert hard strain to grow and technical for my first one never done it before had some issues starting off one plant hasn't developed full like the other one watering on auto pots now plants are drinking alot of water ph level at 6ish with shogun nutrients seem to be coming on ok but no buds as of yet 2 week into flowering stage lights set at 600watt 12/12

Haha I know hope not had to condense the size of that to fit in my loft good job I only tried the 2 plants for my first one and not 4 wouldn't fit 1x2 1x2 by 1x8 needed to reduce height of tent to allow ot to fit in between the loft beams does the plants look healthy and where they should be at this stage ?

Yeah they look great now but they're going to double in size.

Once they're in or past the light and burning it's not so great anymore.

Whatever can't keep getting tucked under that scrog has to go. You're gonna outgrow that space so fast your head will spin. Post up a pic of the whole tent with the door open standing back a few feet and I'll tell you what I would do.

Oh shit ok any ideas just out at the minute limited to height had to take the tent down a foot will i have to keep topping them off at the top or just let them grow

That plant is going to be at least that big and the way you have that the tent set up makes me nervous for fire etc. If it were me I might ditch the tent and hang the light from the rafters idk. It's a tough situation you're in. You didn't exactly nail the planning part. If you have to keep the tent the plants need to be chopped way down at least below the scrog because they will double or triple in size.

Hi mate thanks for you reply been set up since Feb the fire hazard is a concern to fair overlooked and planning yeah not the best be happy to get an harvest will chop down tonight and reduce the height

I run seedlings under 50W of T5 for the first month, so those both look like overkill to me. I know some people run seedlings under a lot more light...hopefully they can chime in.

I do the same but with LED. 100 watt panel at 50%. I would dare put them under the big light that young.

Someone as reccomended to try Northern lights strain next time as a beginner smaller plant etc anyone ever done this strain shorter time to grow to harvest etc

Train wreck any one advise watered with autopot system right nutrients right ph right temp not to close to the light really anyway of getting this back costing me a fortune in nutrients first time grower quite difficult plant to start off with do i cut my losses and try the nothern lights strain had this since February not sprouting buds yet been week 4 flowering ?

Wounded cost me a fortune in nutrients and the set up will try the northen lights for the next run and do my research more trying go for a beginner grow blue sunset sherbert difficult one

I don’t know man, you can try to water and see if that brings her back. Shes looking pretty crispy though. If you have the time and space it could be cool to see what you are able to do with her? But if that were my plant i would be getting something else going in the meantime to takes its place eventually : )

Thanks for the reply appreciated, I can't keep throwing money at it so might just cut my loss on that I have the other one which looks ok to be fair just concerned no buds appearing on it yet and im like touching 5 week of flowering on it

You could try to take some clones from the healthier branches, maybe it won't be a complete waste

I'm going to be using the Auto Pot system in mid/late veg/flower - I'll have to keep an eye out for this.
